The war has gotten worse as the years progress. The fight between hope and despair will live on and continue in life, no matter how hard you try to fix things. That's the way it worked. Fixing was pointless at this point. No reset button,  no undo. Just a pile of mess on the floor. Of course, it could be cleaned up. But the question that everyone wants to know, is how..................

Hajime's POV.

There I was. Back in the classroom with all the classmates I thought I had lost for good. It was all a dream, a nightmare that was gone. Everyone looked at each other with kind smiles, friendly greetings, and friendly handshakes. This was nothing like my dream, but I would rather have this than be alone with no one to care for, no one to..............................love. I looked by the window seal and found Komaeda, staring out the window, gazing at the view. Somehow, I sort of felt, mostly happy to see him. But, I was also anxious. My stomach was bubbling, telling me not to go over to him, but my heart felt different. My heart was telling me to go check on him, see if he's okay. I was confused on which one to choose. Heart or stomach? What will happen if I choose my heart? Will it have a good outcome, or will it get him to hate me? Why do I care this much about him? These were all questions that ran through my mind. As I thought about what the answers could be, I felt two arms hug me from behind, they were shaking a little bit and I suddenly could guess who it was behind me. " H-Hinata-kun, I'm sorry if I surprised you! " Chiaki. " No, don't worry. You didn't scare me at all " " I just wanted to tell you about the level I just completed in the Shadow Quest I've been playing. But if you're too busy, I could always come back later.........."  " Oh no, I'm not busy at all " " great!!!!!!! " She started explaining her new game, but I wasn't really listening. I was too busy worrying about what to say to Komaeda. Too busy asking myself questions. Too busy searching for answers to those questions. Chiaki must've found that noticeable, because she looked at me with a worried look on her face. " Hinata, are you okay? You've been staring at Komaeda for a while now................do you like him or something?" " What?! Don't be silly, why would I have a thing for him " " hmmm, I guess I was wrong, well I have to complete the next level in my game now, see you later " She waved and strolled away, back to her desk. Even if I'd hate to admit it, Chiaki was right, I am falling for Komaeda. And it's causing all these questions to flow throw my head. But the most important question of them, is why. Why was I falling for him? Well, I guess it's time to figure that out......................

Author's note: Sorry if the characters personalities differ from the game. I'm not good at sticking to most characters personalities and end up creating one for them. But I can follow through with some. Also, sorry I didn't make separate paragraphs. I have a habit of putting it all together. Yeah, I tend to make a lot of mistakes when writing stories.
