"Mama! Mama please!"

"I'm sorry dear. Mama has to go."

"Mama! Don't leave! Please! Please! I'll listen mama!"

A stroke on the cheek. "Sorry love."

Then, darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Children laughing. Candles. A women. "She is more powerful than last time. But, there is more in her future. The path is set. Her destiny shall be written."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dripping sounds. Red. A sinister laugh. Grass. The blue sky. "You will never defeat me." A smirk, as sharp as knifes.

"I... will. You... watch your... self. I swear... on... my life... to... kill you." A harsh intake of breath, then darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I open my eyes widely, my breath coming out in pants. Lost in my mind, I did not notice anything. A hand came down on my shoulder, hard.
"Fuck!" I jump back in exclamation. The serenity long gone. Left in its place is a ticking time bomb of emotions, waiting to explode at any moment.
"Are you alright?" a soft voice travel from my left. I nod. Unable to string a single sentence together.
I look around, some of the students staring at me. Apprehension and curiosity swimming in their eyes. Some look on with arrogance, be it slight or more. More of my surroundings start to fill me.
The grass has holes in it, some trees clearly been set on fire and the glow that came from me. I scramble up to find my uniform is charred slightly around the edges. Was that all me?
Mr Kenneth wave a hand and everything went back to normal. "Alright, go back to your rooms everyone. Nothing to see here. Clara, a word please."
I follow him at a slow pace back to school. "Your emotions control your power. Your aim is to make it so that power is controlled by you and your emotions is controlled by your heart and mind. I have faith in you."
He walk away with a smile and a pat on my shoulder. I sigh and walk back to Khaisha's room. I knock on her door when I reached there. The door open widely.
"Hey. I've came to take Amber." I smile slightly.
"Oh. Okay." She wave me in, where Amber is still peacefully lying there, dead.
Shockingly, the news of Amber does not really leave such a hard impact. I do have a crush on her but now that I may or may not have a bigger mission, the worries fade. I might have other things to worry about now. I pick her up in my arms like a bride and she help me carry my bags and other stuffs.
On my schedule it contains my room number too. Thankfully I have explain the problem with the headmistress and she allowed me to pair up with Amber, but it is a secret between both of us.
I gently place Amber down on one of the beds and goes to help retrieve my items from Khaisha. I hang up my uniforms and unpack my stuffs with her help again. Soon, it became nightfall. I thank her for all her help and with a wave, she left.
As soon as I close the door behind her. I slump down against it. Looking at Amber brings back lots of happy memories. I smile when one came rushing back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Clara! Want to go to the mall?" Amber ask, with a vibrant smile.

It is such a joy to see her like that. Her parents abandon her when she was young, claiming that she is some kind of monster or something. At that point, she was only 5 years of age.

"Sure!" Anything for her to keep smiling makes me happy. Growing up in a foster home is not easy for her. She learned many things and eventually save enough to school here. With a scholarship.

We went to the mall that weekend. As we were walking, she gasp and take my wrist to drag me to 77th street. Inside have jewelry, bags, caps and some other things. Specifically, she drag me to the glass casing where some of the jewelries are held.

She pointed at a gothic cross necklace which happens to be on sale. I smile at her excitement. I had admitted to myself that I have a crush on her just last year. No regrets though. She simply sigh and walk inside. None of it seem to catch her attention except for that necklace.

I went over to the counter and request to buy it. I paid for it and had it boxed up. I quickly slip it into my bag before she came over. We went to the movies and had ice-cream, also lunch and dinner before going back to the school.

Back in our room, I place the box on her bed and went to read my fanfictions on my phone. I am such an addict. A squeal blasted in my left ear, I was about to look up from placing my phone on the bed, when I was slammed into with a bone crushing hug.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you!" She pull away and I could see to happiness shining in her eyes.

I wanted so badly to kiss her there and then that it took all my willpower to just give her a hug and a smile. "No problem."

She put it on her neck and has never taken it out since then.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Currently it is still on her neck. I sigh. Oh well, no point pondering much. Tomorrow is a brand new day. I have classes and the dreaded training to attend. I quickly wash up and change into a random shirt and shorts before lying down. Soon, I drift off into sleep.
On the other side, a bracelet starts to glow.
