The next day I started packing my things since nobody was aloud in the school over Christmas break. I was headed for my sister & her husbands house. I was going to stay there for a week & my moms side of the family was having Christmas dinner there. After saying goodbye to Ben & Naomi, packing a bag & driving three and a half hours with traffic I was at my sister Veronicas. I stepped into the front door & saw my nephew sitting in his highchair. MY sister rushed up t hug me & her husband John gretted me aswell.
"So how's college?" My sister Veronica asked.
"It's okay, it's different. Classes are hard. New York is amazing though! My roomate is nice & I have another friend to." I replied.
" A 'friend'?" She said smirking.
She could tell when I said friend I started blushing.
"Well we hung out a few times then he got pulled out of college for a bit & yeah" I said trying not to smile.
My sister smirked at me & went to grab some food for my nephew.
A few days later my whole family started piling into the door. I was still upstairs in the guest room getting ready. I loosely curled my hair, put on my makeup, black skinny jeans, heels & a kinnited bright red sweater. I walked downstairs & all I could hear was the relatives.
" Oh look at you how much you've grown!"
" Did you get those tattoos removed?"
" Don't screw up in college"
All that family stuff which strongly irritated me. At around six o'clock dinner was ready. My mother,sister & I set the table & placed the food on the table. My family & I sat at the table for a few hours. It wasn't untill eleven that everyone was gone. Later that night at one in the morning I got a phone call from an unknown number.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
" Judy it's me Ben." Ben said into the phone.
"Hi Ben, I was just about to go to bed. Are you okay?" I said & got a bit worried.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I'm just calling you from my mom's house." Ben replied into the phone.
"I see" I said.
" I just wanted to hear your voice. I've barely gotten to see you all year, than I get back & it's the last day before vacation." Ben said with a sigh.
" I know, I wish I would have seen you more." I said & started to blush.
" I just miss seeing those big blue eyes that's all." Ben said.
