Some moments last forever and some don't last long enough. Time is peculiar in that it all depends on your perspective. Some moments are infinite. Not literally speaking because Infinity is uncountable- Infinity is forever.
There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and approximately 744,600 hours in a lifetime (assuming you live to be around 85).
A moment you remember is a memory and a memory you will never forget is infinite.
Amelias P.O.V
I stood in front of the 12x12 foot Painting of nothing. I mean it wasn't a blank canvas, but I saw nothing. Nothing but blobs and splotches and smears of different shades of colors of paint.
I stood there for awhile wondering- did someone just pick up a paint brush and start throwing colors all over the place telling them self "I think this is beautiful and belongs in an art gallery."
Art these days...
"BOO!" My best friend Akayla jumped in front of the nothing painting and interrupted my deep thoughts.
"Thank you for taking my attention away from that stupid painting." I said walking beside her to catch up to our class who had moved on to another painting long ago.
"Where do you go?" she quickly asked.
"What?"
"When you dose off...You go to a different world." Akayla continues. "Whats it like there?" She laughed. I punched her arm.
"Its full of shirtless waiters in golden spandex tending to my every need, okay!" That made her laugh loud enough for the man next to us to give us a dirty look.
"So that's why you do it so often" She said between laughs.
"We should probably catch up to our class" I interrupted our little laughing fit. She didn't respond so I looked back to find her staring at a sculpture. That girl has the attention span of an ADD dog I swear.
I Quickly turn back around to go back to our class when, something more beautiful than any other painting in this gallery, catches my eye.
A tall man with brown wavy hair stands broadly, staring at a picture of a creek that holds a few logs. Along the creek are pine trees that separate one side from the other.
I notice the boys jaw line and examine him all the way down his toned body down to his leather boots.
I decide to go over and pretend to admire the not-so-interesting-but-alright-looking picture with him.
"Beautiful, isn't it" I say, trying to sound intellectual and cool...
He looks over at me and smiles. HIS DIMPLES! okay I'm done...
I smile back flirtatiously and he continues to smile as he looks back at the painting.
For about ten long seconds, he stares at the painting smiling and I wonder if I repelled him with my attempted flirty smile.....
Probably.
He finally says "Almost as Beautiful as you."
WHAT??? WHAT DID HE SAY? DID I HEAR HIM RIGHT? HE CALLED ME BEAUTIFUL?
"What?" I said calmly but he just smiled at the painting and didn't respond so I just looked at the ground to hide my blushing face.
"Really" I asked to break the silence?
"No"
No..... He said no. I should just walk away now. I should ju-
"I actually don't think this picture is that great.... I mean its alright, and its pretty, but anyone could take it. Heck I've taken pictures like this. Its nothing special." He looked at me with the most adorable dimple filled smile and I just felt stupid.
"You are MUCH more beautiful than this painting."
I looked at the ground once again to hide my bright red face. This guy was quite the charmer.
"I bet you say that to all the girls" I said.
"You, believe it or not, are actually the first girl whose beauty has been compared to a photograph, by me, Jacob Hayden." He said as though I had won a prize...
I didn't know what to say so I just told him my name was Amelia and he told me his was Jacob and we had a short conversation about how I used the painting as an excuse to talk to him and we exchanged numbers.
After I told him I needed to go somewhere I finally caught up to my class who was just about ready to leave the gallery and told Akayla all about my little interaction with a cute stranger.

I got home and took a nice long shower and flopped onto my bed, exhausted.
School is drag...... even though we went on a field-trip..... it still sucked. Well, most of it anyways ;)
I lay in bed thinking about whether or not Jacob would actually call me. Why would he ccall me? I'm not up to his level. Maybe I should call him. I picked up my phone and scrolled down to the contact he put in my phone under "Stranger(Jacob)".
I hold back my temptation to press call because the boy's supposed to call first.... right?
Instead I scroll up to Akayla and press "call"

"Do you think he'll call? What if he doesn't call? He probably wont call" I lay in bed talking to Akayla on the phone.
"I'm sure he'll call. You just have to give him time. It hasn't even been a full 12 hours Amelia!" She tried comforting me.
suddenly my phone starts beeping and I look down at my screen to rad the words "Incoming call - Stranger(Jacob)"
"AKAYLA I HAVE TO GO TALKTOYOULATEROKBYE"
I desperately press the accept button.
