I screamed louder as she hardened her grip around my hair, pulling it, she started swooping me around the room, not giving a single fuck about my loud screams and apologies.
"Please, please. I'm begging you. Just let me go, please. I won't do it again, I promise. I'll just stay home. I didn't even want to go; I just didn't want them to get mad at me. Just, please. Let me go. Please." I screamed louder and louder with every word, addressing what drove her to beating me up.
I just asked to go to a sleepover a friend was having, and I knew quite well, that if I didn't go, she (The friend)'d be pissed off. I honestly didn't like her as much as i did before, for certain reasons, but I'd rather die than see someone getting mad at me for not doing something. That's just the way I am. I asked my mother, she kept refusing, I kept asking why, she refused again, and I just kept asking questions as to why she wouldn't let me go. And that led me to this moment right here.
I tried my hardest to get up. I took both her arms, stopping her from touching me again. I looked her dead in the eyes and hissed:
"Don't you dare touch me again, you're dead to me."
I glanced around the room to see my dad and older sister Savannah sweating with exhaustion. They were pushing my mother away and covering me up, but it didn't help.
As I spelt the last word, she picked me up and pushed me against the bed, my dad jumped in, pushing her away. But she just kept pulling my hair, this time stronger and harder. I started kicking her away with my legs.
I kept yelling "Stop. Beating. Me. I. Didn't. Even. Do. Anything. Wrong." With every kick.
My screams didn't come to an end. Everything was blurry but clear. Time was going slow, yet in the speed of lighting at the same time. Sounds ringing through my ears.
She was choking me. I was dying to take one last breath.
Then, everything just turned blurry again.
Last thing I remember, I was laying on the cold hard floor. Shaking. Trying to breath. Choking on my own spit.
Then suddenly, everyone and everything stopped.
A viciously loud, annoying sound started ringing. I closed my eyes, whispering: "Thank you god."
It was my alarm.
