Alone~Poem

Imagine yourself,

Alone with the thoughts in your head,

You're hanging there,

By a really thin thread,

My beating heart is the only sound,

As you push me to the jagged ground,

I'm alone and confused,

Miss-treated and miss-used,

Raped and abused,

Unloved and refused,

The nightmares I have had since I was five,

I hated every moment that I was alive,

I struggled through all my years,

I had to hide all my tears,

I'm that lonely star,

That's in the sky,

I start to flicker,

I start to cry.
