Mason is a Character that is very new to this Werewolf stuff, he joined Teen Wolf in season 4 with Liam Dunbar. The two of them are like brothers they are like mini Scott and Stiles all over again.
Mason is gay, and he is in love with no other than Corey one of the Chimeras. They have shared kiss scenes in season 5.
Mason isn't any mytical creature like Liam, Malia or Kira. But in season 5b the pack was fighting against The Beast of Gévaudan. The Beast didn't know who he was or what he was. Until.. Scott and Liam found out about Mason being the last Chimera "The Beast" Then a man named Sebastien Valet came out from Mason out of Nowhere. Then in the last episode the pack managed to get rid of Sebastien. By letting the Banshee(Lydia) Yell out his birthname. So now Mason is just Mason, a normal teenager.
