Emma's POV

Hi I'm Emma Blake. I'm your average 16 year old girl, oh except I'm auditioning for a roll on a tv show. It's a Nickelodeon show called Henry Danger. The lead Henry is played by this insanely cute actor named Jace Norman. If I get the part, I get to be his girlfriend - in the show. I'm moving to California on Friday which is tomorrow and I'm super excited. It's me, my mom and my brother Grant. My parents never got married so I guess you could say instead of getting divorced, they broke up. Anyways I'm very happy that I can finally get out of this town. At the school I go to I'm always being picked on, when I get the part - if I get the part - I'll have to be homeschooled so I still get an education as well as follow my acting schedule. I'm so excited and nervous for tomorrow I can't even think straight.

Friday Morning

I take one last look at my old room. All that's left is the paint on the walls and the marks on the floor. I took my last box out to the car and helped mom in the kitchen with getting the last minute stuff. "Hey honey, are you excited?" My mom asked me. I didn't want to show how truly excited but I couldn't help myself "yea!" I squealed. As Grant walked into the kitchen for breakfast and he also told us that the last boxes were packed and we were ready to go. I can't believe we are actually leaving. I can't believe I actually got an audition for a real tv show. I can't believe any of this. It feels so weird looking at my house and seeing it empty, but not in the sad way you think of in the movies.

"Emma, come on let's go." My mom calls from the car. I just finished checking through the whole house one more time to make sure I didn't forget anything. I grabbed my phone and my backpack and took one final breath as I closed the door to my house for the very last time. I got into the car and put in my earbuds and watched as we drove away.

The car ride took forever. We drove from Phoenix, Arizona all the way to Los Angeles, that's a 5 and a half hour ride. Half way through we stopped at 7/11 for come snacks and a bathroom break. When we got back on the road the car just kept getting hotter and hotter. Imagine driving in late July with 2 other people and lots and lots of boxes in a punch buggy. But hey I can't really complain it's all gonna be worth it.

As we started to slow down I could hear my mom saying "we're here". But I was asleep so it took me a minute to decide weather or not I was gonna get up. Then I remembered where we were and jumped up to look out the window at the most jaw dropping house ever. It was huge, and very expensive looking. I had no words. I took out my ear buds, grabbed my backpack and used my freshly cut key that my mom had given me this morning to unlock the door and run inside the house to see a beautiful stair case to my right and to my left I could see the living room and in front there were two door which I don't know where they lead to yet. Mom called from outside "Your rooms are upstairs, you can go pick the one you want." I run up the stairs full of excitement and sudden energy, opening the first door. This room was absolutely perfect, the walls are this really pale pink color - my favorite - the size is perfect and I don't even want to look at the others.

I start unpacking my boxes one at a time. I didn't notice this earlier but this room has a walk-in closet! I'm in shock over everything. I put all my clothes away, the my school books and then I organized my make-up. I don't wear makeup often and when I do it's not a lot. I eventually finish unpacking all my boxes and go downstairs and explore the rest of the house and help unpack more boxes. I can't believe I'm gonna be auditioning for Henry Danger on Thursday. This is so exciting I can barely wait. I decide to go back upstairs, grab my phone and go for a walk around the neighborhood.

Im walking down the street and I see a boy. As I get closer he started looking more and more familiar. Oh my god. Is that? I think it is. Jace Norman. Does he seriously live down the street from me? I don't know if I should go talk to him. I don't know if I can. Well I have to sooner or later. All this thinking I didn't even realize I was still walking I almost walked right into Jace. That wouldn't have been good. "Hey"
Omg. Omg. Omfg. The Jace Norman just said hey to me. I should say hi back before he thinks I'm being rude. "Hi, I'm Emma I just moved in down the street"
