Chapter 8

*Ryders POV*

  I woke up to someone kicking me. Opening my eyes slightly, I saw it was Charlie kicking me.

  I tried to move but it was too hard to, groaning as he kicked my back again.

  When he picked me up I yelped from the cut in my stomach.

  I dropped my head down looking down.

  The room was dark, with only a little light in shining from a window.

  Charlie threw me and I landed on a bed, causing me to groan from hitting my head on the wall.

  I felt blood still soaking my shirt which was dripping down my neck. All of a sudden, the lights turn on blinding me, making me squint as I looked at him

  "Why am I here?" I whisper to him.

  "Because" he said and smirked looking at the steps, which led upstairs I'm guessing.

  I decided not to question him again.

  I looked at the bed. And started talking to talking to myself.

How long have I been here?

Idk.

Is there people looking for me?

No. A voice had said.

  I looked up to see Charlie was gone.

  "You don't know that" I mumbled

Why would anyone be looking for you? They're happy that your gone.

  "How do you know that? You're just a voice in my head.."

I know because it's true, come on face the facts, they never wanted you around, that's why they never helped you..

  "What about Matt?"

He's just someone who wanted to be nice to you.

  "What about Jordan?"

He doesn't care about you that's why he kissed someone else..

  "He said it wasn't his fault.."

He lied.

  "No. Your lying.."

Why would I lie?

  "Because your just the voice in my head" I said

I'm the only thing you have left. You have your razor blade in your pocket remember? Do the right thing and do everyone a favor..

  "I can't.."

Why not? It's easy, just cut random places, let yourself lay here and bleed out, your already weak.

  "I can't, so shut up" I said again. The voice had finally shut up, but then I started thinking.

  What if it's true? Are they not looking for me?

  Ugh I can't think anymore, I'm about to get a headache.

  I fell alseep lying here.

*Jordan's POV*

I was in the hospital in the waiting room waiting for the doctors to tell me something.

"Tell me something, anything! What's going on in there?!" I yelled at a nurse pointing at the way they took Ryder.

"Sir, I have no clue what's going on in there." she replied calmly.

"How can you not! Go check then!" I yelled again.

"I need you to calm down, and I'm not supposed to just go into there..they need to call for me."

Something rang.

"I need to go, a patient needs me"

And with that she was off.

A doctor ran out.

"Are you Jordan?"

"Yes I am."

"I have bad news for you.."

I gulped "What is it?"

"He didn't make it, I'm sorry"

"No, no, no. No! This can't happen to me!" I yelled.

  I woke up sweating and my heart pounding against my chest.

  What a terrible dream...I have to find him before it's too late...that can't happen to him, he can't die on me.

  Getting up, I got ready for school.

  I walked to outside not caring about eating or anything else, just talking to Charlie.

  I got to school and looked for Charlie. My eyes scanned the hall until found him talking to someone. I walked up to him, glaring at him with my fist clenched.

  "What do you want?" He asked looking at me.

  "Where is he?"

  "Where is who?"

  "Where's Ryder?"

  "I don't know what your talking about." he said and smirked.

  I glared harder at him if it was possible. God I wanna slap the smirk right of his face.

  I punched him in the face and he tumbled backwards.

  "What the hell was that for?" He said and spat something out.

  "For not telling me where he is"

  I walked off to class not caring about his anwser, I'm following him to his house after school.

Time skip to after school (I'm only skipping because there's nothing important that happens ^-^ now read on my french fries)

  I got in my car waiting for Charlie to come out and drive.

  He finally came out and practically jumped in his car and sped off.

  I followed him and parked across the street from his house.

  I took a picture of his address and drove home.

  Once I was home I went inside and went to bed.

  I'm going to check his house tomorrow during school, calling in sick.

  I thought about my plans tomorrow.

  After I changed I fell asleep as quickly as my body let me, anxious to do tomorrows activities.
