I awoke the next morning, and found Rythian looking at me.

"Sorry" he mumbled looking away.

"Your just so peaceful when you sleep" I smiled.

"I think we should start moving" I said.

"We can both walk, and it's only a matter of time before they have a winner"

Rythian agreed with a nod and we both started getting packed up, leaving a small portion of food just in case.

We walked out the cave, bow and arrow in my hand.

I went first, walking through the bush with Rythian behind me. Now that it was down to the last four, when a tribute died, their face would immediately appear in the sky.

We wouldn't have to wait for night time. I frowned, noticing that it was getting dark quite quickly.

"They must be in a rush to end it" I said. We continued walking through the bush until I stopped.

In the distance, I heard someone screaming. Thunder crashed and I looked up. DaveChaos' face appeared in the sky.

Whatever killed him, wasn't human. I had heard growling and yelping. I turned to Rythian, and then there was a growl behind us. We both turned and ran, whatever that thing was, it was bolting through the bush behind us.

I had an idea and changed direction, grabbing Rythians arm as he almost stopped.

We both soon were running again but I wa a getting tired. So was Rythian. We broke the tree line and saw the cornucopia up ahead.

I prayed that these things couldn't climb and we stopped at the edge. Rythian boosted me up and I turned and grabbed his arm, pulling him up jut as the monster reached us.

Beckii Cruel.

Monster creator.

She did a good job this year. The monster was a dog like creature. It's fur was black and slick, and it's ears were jagged and pointed, narrowed back. It's teeth were much the same, and it's mouth was pulled back in a angry growl. It's eyes looked ferocious, and it's front legs were piled on with muscles that propped the creature up, while the back legs were much smaller, like those of a cats.

It had a patch on its shoulder, the background was blue and it said 2. Two more monsters ran out the trees after it and I saw that one had a red patch, with bright blond fur. The patch said 1. The other had a yellow patch and light brown fur that said 4. Then it hit me.

The monsters were dead tributes. I saw more monsters coming out of the bush to join the others. There was a larger one, with dark fur. 11. DaveChaos.

And a smaller one, with pink fur. I froze.

It was Cassandra.

She snarled and snapped along with the rest of the pack. Suddenly, something grabbed me from behind and lifted me into the air.

I cried out and kicked, struggling to get out of the persons grip. I kicked them in the stomach and herd them grunt and release me.

I stumbled away and turned to see Lalna, blood pouring from a head wound and a snarl on his face. Much like the dogs.

He came at me again and I dodged, scanning for my bow I had dropped when he grabbed me.

Rythian hit him from behind, distracting him while I went for my knife. Lalna and Rythian fought as I dived on the bow, fumbling with the arrow.

Lalna punched me across the face and I was knocked to the ground, coughing some blood as he lifted me up. He slammed me down again and pushed his hand on my throat.
