Chapter two: The picnic
Olivia's POV
I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. I pick up my phone and turn off the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I glance at the time, it was 10:30am. I hop out of bed, and walk to my bathroom to start getting ready for my picnic date with Jacob.
I strip out of my clothing, and hop in the shower, turning on the warm water. After a few minutes of 'rinse, wash repeat', I hoped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around my body. I start drying my hair, while running the brush threw it. After I was done with that I put on my purple sweater, and my black leggings. My phone went off, and it was Jacob.
Jacob: babe I'm here, ready for our picnic date
Olivia: Yea I'm coming down now be right there
Jacob: Kk see you soon bby 😘
Olivia: 😘😉
I slip my phone into my pocket, while putting my black fury boots on. I ran downstairs, and out the door, heading into Jacobs car. He was wearing a black and grey sweater with grey pants. He smiled at me.
"You look beautiful Olivia, who am I kidding you always look beautiful", he said causing me to blush.
"Hehe Thanks, you don't look to bad yourself"
"Haha, you ready to go", he asked starting the car.
"Yeah let's go"
He started driving to the park. Winter was already over, which met spring. So it was warm enough to have a picnic. I'm glad for that. We soon arrived at the park. I hoped out of the car, and helped grab some of the stuff for the picnic. We walked to our special spot under the big oak tree. It had a bench, and a duck pond near it. We set up everything and sat down on the picnic blanket.
"So what'd ya bring for lunch", I asked.
"Well we have turkey bacon sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, salt and vinegar chips, and sparkling apple juice", he pulling out everything.
"Wow this is amazing, I love you"
"I love you more"
"No I love you more"
"No I do!"
"No I do haha"
"Fine how about we both love each other exactly the same which is a lot", Jacob said.
"Fineeee haha"
He grabbed out some plates and glasses. He put our food on our plates and poured us some sparkling apple juice. This was an absolute perfect date.
"Thank you so much for this", I said kissing his cheek.
"There's no need to thank me, you deserve everything"
"I feel like I should after all you've done for me these past few years"
"I love you, so your gonna get spoiled"
"But I feel like I should do something for you"
"You already do"
"What do I do for you"
"Your in my life and you love me, that's enough for me"
He pulled me into a kiss. I kissed him back.
"I love you so much", he said.
"I love you too"
Our moment was interrupted by Jacobs phone going off.
Jacobs POV
My phone started going off. I answered and it was my mom.
Jacob: Hey mom what's going on
Mom: I need you too come home
Jacob: but why?
Mom: you have a letter that came for you in the mail
Jacob: okay fine I'll be there soon bye
I hang up and slip my phone back into my pocket. Olivia looked at me with a concerned expression.
"Who was that", she asked.
"It was my mom she said I have a letter in the mail for me"
"Okay, well let's go see what it is"
"Okay", I said as we started cleaning up our picnic.
