JACKSON

He couldn't believe what he is seeing right now, Seung-no Wendy crouching in the small corner of the store, huddling herself, biting her lips as if to stop tears from falling. She hadn't been like this before, she was one of the strongest woman he knew, well actually the strongest, Seulgi just gets angry whenever she's ranked below anyone but it's the truth. He never saw her not smiling and trying to be the happy little pill she is, but now seeing her like this he never expected to want to wrap his arms around her and tell her everything's going to be okay.

"H-Hey are you alright?" As soon as the words left his mouth he realized how stupid it was and braced himself for Seulgi's retort but to his amazement he got nothing, instead he saw Wendy look at him directly on the eyes, and shook her head slowly.

He remembered the first time he saw her they were seven by then and her hair was gathered up in a tiny ponytail, unlike Seulgi's which were tied in small areas by her ears. She was a transferee, everyone had heard of that it was a small school they attended at which is why news spreads quickly but what they didn't expect was that it'd be a girl, her name after all was a little boyish for her that Jackson secretly hoped he'd be friends with cause he'd been stuck with Seulgi for all he could remember.

"Hello, my name is Shon Seungwan. Please take care of me." she said in one go she was smiling which they found unusual students around here don't smile often its like a stigma, a tradition to just stop smiling but she is and her eyes sparkled with that.

No one's eyes shone like that or perhaps it was just an illusion, but even after all these time Jackson couldn't forget how that smile changed the small school they'd studied at.

"Let's talk, the three of us." Seulgi said her voice unsure of why she was doing such a thing but nonetheless Jackson had to agree that it might be the best solution for them.

"No ..." she whispered.

"WE insist, besides its not like we're going to let you off just like that." Seulgi glared at him daring him to disagree but he had no hesitations whatsoever.

"Fine, I-I uh please take the dress for me, I need it." Wendy said.

"Alright, I'll come back."

SEULGI

Seulgi didn't understand why she was suddenly this concerned over Shon Seungwan, after all that she had done to their friendship but she guessed that some part of her, a very tiny piece of her walls broke when she heard the hurt in her voice.

She knew she left without hearing her explanation and to top all of that she had accused her of things she wasn't sure she did. The three of them hailed a cab to her house deciding that it was the best place to go since no one of them was really sure what would happen if they talked in public.

No one dared to utter a word until they reached the building where she lived, Stavros, as far as Seulgi knew had both lease and ownership as high as the clouds and to see Seungwan living here, dang she really had been that powerful. Walking through the halls of the lobby she saw her transform from the weak almost crumbling girl to the now powerful woman walking in her mere white tee and shorts, commanding respect from everyone that even the other residents stopped their activities to look at her, awe glazing their eyes it only stopped when they reached the elevator to which Seungwan pressed the 7th floor.

"7th huh," Seulgi muttered.

"Yeah, I have another at the 77th but going up and down from there is too tedious I'm considering on selling it." she said in a light tone that held nothing of the previous hurt she heard from it to which Seulgi chose not to reply for they had already reached the floor and walking a bit more they came face to face with the single door she has seen from the entire floor, to which Seungwan inserted her key in.
