Meeting the Arrow Team (p.1)

Kara's POV

Me and Barry were in a room talking. I had just finished telling the team my life story. 

"So, are you going tell them we're dating?" I asked. 

"Yeah I'll tell them right after work today. Since your staying here for a while you might as well make a name for yourself and get settled. You're staying with me, and you've already met the team. Now all you gotta do is become a hero and meet some more of my friends. You can meet the Arrow team first. Oliver's like a brother to me. And you can start being a he-"

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"That's an alert for danger, I guess you can start now! Wanna take it solo?" Barry offered smiling. 

"Definitely." I replied smirking. 

We walked out of the room and into the main part of the lab where Cisco informed us on the situation, "Building on fire. I'll give you the directions while you're flying there."

Iswiftly changed into my suit and flew out the door towards the fire.

"Ok left," Cisco started, "No your other left! Wait--nevermind, my bad. You're going the right way. Okay, keep going. Now right, left, straight, 'nother left, aaand right. You've arrived."

I used my freeze breath to put out the fire. I then used my x-ray vision to scan the building.  I saw a few people trapped under rubble, and many of the civilians gasping for much needed air. I wasted no time, and flew straight into the building where I picked up all the injured people and brought them to safety. 

When I landed a police officer came up to me and asked the obviously predicted question, "Who are you?" 

"You can call me... Supergirl." 

And with that I flew off.

Oliver's POV

"HIYYA!" I yelled. 

Diggle and I were sparring while Laurel and Thea rested up. 

"HIYYA!" I yelled again. This time hitting Diggle in the leg and causing him to fall down. 

BEEP BEEP BEEP 

I quickly ran over to check the monitors and saw what caused it. 

"Count Vertigo in an abandoned warehouse on 4th street!" I called out.

"Got it," everybody responded as we suited up. 

Count Vertigo was one of the worst enemies I had faced so far. 

"Come on!" yelled Thea, snapping me out of my thoughts. 

"Sorry," I said while everyone was jumped into the van.

When we got to the warehouse we hopped out of the van, weapons in our hands. 

I heard footsteps behind be, but it was too late. The henchmen of Count Vertigo ambushed us and my world slowly got darker. When I woke up I was strapped to a table, Diggle and Thea next to me. 

"DIGGLE, THEA!" I desperately screamed. 

When they finally woke up I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.  I tried to speak into the coms, but all I could hear was electricity. They must've broken during the ambush. A moment later, Count Vertigo himself walked in. He had a vial filled with a grey, liquidy substance in his hand. He was about to shove it in Thea's mouth when a loud explosion sound knocked him off his feet. Diggle, Thea, and I were fully awake by now and aware to see who caused the noise. 

A beautiful woman dressed in red and blue walked into the room and growled out, "You're hurting my friends, you'll pay." 

She grabbed him by his collar and knocked him unconscious with just a flick of a finger. She then walked over to us and used her bare hands to undo the metal straps that were holding all of us. 

She picked us up and said, "You're van out front got kinda beat up, you want a lift?" 

"Who are you? Why did you call us your friends?" Diggle asked as he pulled out his gun and pointed it at her. 

"Ahhh, you must be Diggle, Oliver's under that hood, and the one dressed in red is Thea. Nice to finally meet you all." She said. 

"Who are you?" Diggle said a bit louder this time. 

"I'm Supergirl." she replies. 

"That name means nothing to us. Why are you even here?" I ask nervously. 

"To talk. I'm a friend of Barry's." The girl says. 

"How can we know we can trust you." I question. 

"If I wanted to hurt you I would've done it already." She says. 

"Fine." We all cave. 

"So," she starts, "Do you guys need a lift back to your 'Arrow Cave'. Or whatever Oliver wants to call it. Felicity's worried, your coms broke, so she thinks you guys are like dead or something." 

"Sure give us a lift. Wait, are you as fast as Bar-" 

But with that, Kara had picked them all up already, and was flying at superspeed towards the cave.
