We pull up in my driveway and run inside. I'm surprised when I see my dad and another woman in the living room.

"D-Dad? What are you doing here?" I ask with confusion and excitement in my voice.

"So....that's your dad?" Aaron murmurs in an angry tone. I nudge him in the shoulder.

"I am her father." My dad says.

"Dad...who is she?" I say, staring at her.

"Sweetie, I'm your fathers girlfriend." She smiles at me.

"What?" Anger rings in my voice.

"I'm your new mother." She smiles again.

I laugh. "You? Be my mother?" I laugh to myself. "I think that's funny. Because you're not. And you never will be." I say with a more serious tone.

"Young lady do not speak to your new mother like that."

"Oh yeah? I can do whatever I want. This is my house and I'm paying off your debt with Kyle."

"She paid all of it. And you're not eighteen yet so I'm your legal guardian." He says getting angry. "You two chat, I'll be upstairs." He says walking upstairs.

"So..Ember...you're gonna start treating me like your mother, got it? Or you will regret it." She warns.

"The only thing I regret right now is not being able to pound you in." I growl at her. Aaron grabs my arm and shakes his head.

"Of course you would darling." She smirks.

"He's married. You're just a side bitch." I laugh at her. She glares at me.

"At least he cares about me?" She smirks.

"Like I give a fuck? At least I can't be replaced." I retort at her.

"He'll never get a woman like me again."

"Isn't that the point?" I smile. Dad comes downstairs.

"Angelica, are you okay?" He says walking over to her.

"No. Ember hates me and I don't know why. All I tried to do was be nice." She sobs.

"You motherfucking lying bitch!" I yell at her.

"EMBER!!" Dad yells at me. "Let's go drink that expensive champagne that we bought honey." He comforts her.

"Expensive champagne, huh?" I ask while walking to the kitchen.

"One hundred dollar champagne. Bought it by myself." Angelic a brags.

"Oh? Then I suppose it would be a waste if someone did this.." I pick it up and poor it down the drain.

She gasps. "How dare you!? You could never experience such fine luxuries anyways!"

"Ember! Young lady go to your room right now! And you.." He looks at Aaron. "Never come back here again."

"My house my rules ass hole." I stare bored at my dad.

"I told you to go to your room." He growls.

"Yeah. I heard ya. Doesn't mean I'm gonna do it." I say. "So, why don't you show some respect to your daughter who will gladly throw you out on your asses."

"I know you wouldn't. You love me too much." My father taunts. I raise an eye brow at him.

"Wanna bet on it?" I ask.

"Of course." His cockiness will be his downfall.

I grab Angelica and himself and throw them on my back. I start walking to the door of my house and kick it open.

"So, how much was that bet again?" I taunt him.

He gulps. "You won't."

"Don't sound to sure don't ya dad?" I smirk.

"I am very sure." He's obviously lying. I can basically hear his doubt and worry.

I walk outside and throw them both onto the ground. I brush off my hands and walk inside.

"Do not kick your father out on his birthday!!" He yells angrily.

I open the door and smile. "Happy fucking birthday." I slam the door and crack up laughing.

"Ember...he's your dad." He says softly.

"And? He was being an ass." I say as I sit on the couch and lay down.

"Maybe he wanted to make you happy." He points out.

"Maybe. But I doubt a person like him even feels happiness." I say while turning on the TV with the remote.

"Ember." He says.

"Aaron." I reply.

He sighs but comes and sits down next to me.

"We still going to that fight?"

"Nah. We'll go tomorrow morning. That's when all the strong guys are there." I say.

"I worry that you'll get hurt.." He admits.

"Don't worry tough guy..I can take care of myself." I smile at him.

He smiles back at me. We start moving closer together to the point where I could feel his warm breath on my face. We close our eyes and start moving closer again when we hear a knock on the door.

"Damn it." He whispers to himself.

I get off the couch and open the door.

"Hello?" I ask.

"This is where you went huh?" Laurence and Garroth welcome themselves in.

"Gee, make yourselves at home." I roll my eyes while closing the door.

"Say, can we crash here? Our lift left us."

I groan. "Do you have to?" They look at me with shocked faces.

"I'm kidding people calm down." I say.

Laurence and Garroth take the last spots on the couch.

"Now where am I supposed to sit?" I laugh.

"Well....you can sit on my lap." Laurence suggests.

"Ugh, no." I sit on the floor in front of Aaron.

"So Aaron gets special treatment?"

"I mean, you guys did intrude so yeah." I point out.

Someone else knocks at the door.

"Garroth go answer the door for me." I plead.

"But-"

"Pwetty pwease?" I batter my eyelashes.

"Fine." He gives in and answers the door.

"Yes!" I cheer.

Aphmau walks in.

"Oh...didn't know this was your place." She glares at me.

"Know what? What I did I do?" I ask.

"What?"

"I'm fed up with your bullshit. Tell me what I did." She stares wide-eyed at me.

"Well...um..." She begins but doesn't finish.

"So I did nothing?" I question.

She nods her head sheepishly. I sigh angrily and get up and walk over to her.

"Ember don't hurt her." Aaron defends her.

"She's delicate Ember.." Garroth adds.

"We've sworn to protect her." Laurence adds as well.

I lift her head up so she looks me in the eye..
