I clean the blood on Laurence's face and then throw the tissue out.

"How the hell do you punch so hard?" He asks while slowly removing his hands from his nose again.

"I don't know.." I shrug.

Aaron grabs my arm and turns me around and whispers in my ear.

"I know you're lying. Be yourself...we won't judge you.."

I shove him away. Garroth and Laurence gasp in shock.

"What?"

I bark at them.

"Woah, what happened to the cute nerd?"

"Nothing."

I glare at Aaron. He looks at me with gentle, caring eyes.

"I understand your pain.." He says sadly..no one would understand my pain. My mother was fighting, my dad was in debt, I never see my brother cause we're trying to save our dad from loan sharks.

"You. Know. Nothing." I say as I clench my fist.

"What the hell? She is definitely not a gentle Angel." Garroth says backing away from me.

"Yeah Aaron, he's totally not judging me." I say sarcastically.

"Let me introduce you to my friend..follow me."

He takes my hand and starts walking towards a beautiful tanned woman with amber eyes and jet black hair.

"Hi Aaron! Who's your friend?" She asks while raising an eyebrow at me but still smiles.

"Aphmau, this is Ember. Ember, this is Aphmau."

"Nice to meet you Ember! Say, isn't ember the slightly cool coals of the fire?"

"Yeah....my mother said she could feel the fire in me.." Tears sting my eyes. I quickly wipe away the tears and smile back at Aphmau.

"Is there anything you want to talk about Ember...you were about to cry.."

"I-It was nothing." I shrug it off and look at the two crows fighting over a piece of bread left by a student.

"Yes it was Ember..help me help you." She smiles again.

"I forgot I left my sketchbook with Laurence and Garroth.." I turn to walk away but Aaron, once again, grabs my arm.

"Garroth is going to keep it until he sees you next for safekeeping." He reassures me.

"Well, I got to go...prepare for class."

------

Last class, PE with Garroth.

"We're doing laps, you sure you can do this?" He asks with more of a concerned voice than mocking.

"Yeah...why?"

"You're our groups little cute nerd." He rubs my head and I brush off his hand.

"Let's make a deal."

"My attention is peaked."

"If I come first, you have to yell out to the entire class that I am awesome and better at running laps than you."

"What if I win?"

"If you beat me, I will...any requests?"

"Go on a date with me?"

"Deal." He looks surprised as I shake his hand.

"I thought I was gonna get slapped and you were gonna deny. Where would you like to go on our date?" He smirks.

"What date? You haven't won."

"Just preparing." He flashes me a cheeky smile.

"Alright class! Line up! He race is about to start!"

Me and Garroth stand next to each other at the starting line. We flash each other a smile.

"GO!"

Mr. Ura starts the race and we all sprint, putting in our all. I see Garroth starting to sweat so I start running backwards. I still go faster than him. His draw drops and I laugh a little. I face the front and overtake everyone and cross the finish line.

"Wow...Miss Vendetta you certainly don't look athletic but you exceed at it!"

"Gee thanks." I roll my eyes. What a stereotypical pig.

Garroth comes fourth and walks over to me.

"Wow...you make it...look so easy..." He says in between breaths.

"It is for me~" I say in a playful tone.

------

PE ended early so we get free time. I go to take out my phone to talk to Kyle but Garroth stops me.

"You're last name is Vendetta..?"

"Yeah why?"

"You know the meaning for it right?"

"Well duh."

He raises an eyebrow at me.

"No..." I confess. He messes up my hair.

"Hey! Garroth!" I knew that voice...Ivy.

"What are you doing with her!?" She scowls at me.

"Oh Ivy....maybe it's BECAUSE WE'RE IN THE SAME CLASS!!" I yell at her.

"Did you just yell at me nerd!?" She glares at me.

"Yeah. Get used to it, cause you're not pushing me around anymore." I glare back at her this time.

"Oh yeah!?" She throws a punch at me but I catch her hand before she could hit me. I throw her over myself and slam her on the ground.

"Now if you don't want a broken nose you should respect me." I walk away and she gets up.

"That's right! You better run!" I turn to face her. I run and kick her in the gut, sending her to the other side of the gym.

"MR. URA!!" She cries.

I run over to her and throw her into the air. I jump up so that I'm next to her. I grab her by her shirt and start swinging her around.

"HELP ME!!" She says, her voice says it all. She's afraid.

I smirk and throw her to the feet of Mr. Ura. His jaw drops as he see Ivy's terrified face. Everyone was trembling. Even Garroth.

"She wanted to spar."

I smile innocently.

"Y-Yeah...I-I did." Ivy says while shakily getting up.

I walk to Garroth and smile at him.

"A-Aaron...Laurence...Aphmau....T-They saw the f-fight.." He says almost in the same shaky voice Ivy had.

I smirk. "Good." I say while walking to the exit..
