The Poison Princess

Chapter Four: "The path of choosing right or wrong"

    Adam found a restaurant a block away from the village, so Kate and him could eat something. As soon as they went in Kate's father was there, so Kate decided that she is going to face her dad.

 Kate went to him and taped him in the shoulder, his dad turned around and looked at her. "Kate where were you, your mom and I were worried sick" "why don't you cut the act and face the truth"said Kate furiously "why did you lie to me dad?" "I did it to protect you Kate"said Kate's father "Protect me from what?" "I was going to find out eventually"said Kate with a cracking voice. "Look Kate there are things that are just meant to keep in secret" "Yeah! But not something like that" said Kate crying,"You know what Kate that's enough you are coming home with me at once" "No dad let go" said Kate furiously, "I said let go!!!!!!!!!". As soon as she said the last let go an explosion of poison happened and everyone near to the village was knocked out. Kate's dad did not get hurt but he ran out of the restaurant.

 Adam was very scared of Kate at that moment. Kate was nowhere to be found so Adam went outside and started looking for her. He remembered the prophecy saying that this was going to happen, the prophecy also said that there was another solution to the problem, but it was to kill her and Adam did not want to do that. He knew another solution, so Adam kept looking for Kate, until he found her inside of a cave crying. He went inside the cave to find Kate on the ground with green eyes and a poison ball  in her hands. "Kate what's wrong" "I don't know" said Kate crying. "Leave me alone Adam" "but Kate you can't keep pushing people away!" "Just get out", Kate hit Adam with a poison ball and Adam feel to the ground. "Adam!!" said Kate screaming. Adam did not answer the first time "Adam" said Kate crying, "Stop crying am fine" "Adam don't scare me like that" "OK I won't" said Adam laughing. "This is all my dad's fault, he deserves to die" "Don't talk like that" said Adam "I'm going to kill my father and no one is going to stop me". Kate ran out of the cave to go to her castle that was five minutes away,  Adam went running after her.

 (Five minutes later) Kate ran in to the castle straight to her dad's office where her dad was working at the moment. "Dad!" screamed Kate furiously, "You cannot talk to me in that tone"said Kate's dad" "Yeah and you can't lie to your daughter" said Kate trying to make her point. "Because of you dad, I have hurt a lot of people" "Know am going to kill you" said Kate evilly "She started creating a ball of poison until"Kate stop" said Adam "Please Kate I don't want you to turn evil". The ball of poison in Kate's hands faded away and Kate asked Adam "What do you mean by turn evil" said Kate "Well if you kill your father you turn completely evil" "I don't want that" Kate ran away and Adam went after her. "Kate wait" "Adam just leave me alone". Adam then caught up to Kate and they stopped and they sat down.

 "Kate I know how to help you" "You do?" said Kate curiously "Yes" "Its going to sound a little silly but what I'm about to tell you is true". "There is this wizard that lives in a place with on explainable things" "What do you mean?"asked Kate "Do you believe in dragons?" "Yes, why?" "Well his home is guarded by a one". "Really" said Kate surprised  "yeah" "People say that the dragon is very wise and the dragon speaks" "The only way you get through is if you solve his riddle, but the thing about the dragon is that his riddles are almost impossible to solve."Luckily I know my way around, I have always solved his riddles. So let's just say it's not my first rodeo, (Kate laughs)"why are you laughing" asked Adam curiously "You sounded very cute when you said that" (Adam blushed). Adam kind of has a crush on Kate but he doesn't want to admit it, though Kate actually has a crush on him, but she does not want to admit is either so it's kind of a weird situation, they both feel the same about each other but they won't admit it.  They both found a place to sleep and stayed there until the last day.
