Merry Christmas everybody!!! :D This is kind of a short chapter but I just only thought it up so I decided to type it! Hope everyone else had a great day and hopefully the last week of this year is a happy one!

I realized I wasn't dead, when I felt my sore aching muscles and throbbing head. I forced myself to open my eyes that felt heavy and sticky. I saw that I was still in my pjs from last night and they were no longer cold, but just damp and clung tightly to my skin. My mouth felt dry and I was very thirsty.

I managed to sit up, and doing so, I saw I was lying in a bed covered by a blood red satin coverlet that was tangled in a twisted mess around my legs. Everything from last night came back to me in a rush that made my head spin so fast, I thought I would pass out again. Jacob. Mom and Dad. Dr. Zedler. All of these people ran through my thoughts as I racked my brain, trying to figure out where I was. The last place I could remember being was the forest. Which meant that wherever I was, I was with Jacob, which ultimately meant I was not safe.

I scanned the room and noticed that there were no windows. A small lamp was on the highest possible setting in a far corner and across that was the door. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I looked straight ahead and saw my reflection staring back at me in a full length mirror. My hair was disheveled and I looked pasty white.

Slowly I untangled myself from the sheets and carefully stepped out of the bed, which was higher off the ground then I realized, causing me to stumble. My ears were ringing and I felt very dizzy, but I continued on and made it across the room to the mirror, where I stopped for a second. I was noticing new things that frightened me. My eyes were ringed an angry red, especially around the pupils which were dilated. My whole face appeared drained of blood, except for my lips which were a bright, healthy shade of pink. With a hand I moved my hair away from my neck where he had bitten me, and in doing so, I saw that instead of fang marks or torn skin, only a slight bruise remained. What was happening to me? Was I going to turn into something like him? These thoughts were horrifying and I had to fight the urge to scream.

As fast as I could, I got away from that mirror and staggered to the door. To my surprise it was unlocked as I turned the handle. Before I stepped outside, I looked left and right for signs of anyone, but nothing moved and I didn't hear any noise. Taking the opportunity I stepped out and making a complete guess that could be wrong, I started down the right side of the darkened hallway. It was a long corridor that seemed to stretch forever. There were a few doors on both sides of the hall and every time I passed one, I moved slowly and quietly. The only source of light was from candles that were lit from chandeliers above my head. All the while it felt like my head was going to explode from pain and I bit my lip to keep from making any sound. This place was freaky and reminded me of some abandoned haunted house from the 19th century that had come alive.

I finally reached an elaborate staircase that spiraled down and down, until I lost sight of any other ground. Unfortunately before I could even take another step, I felt a cold hand grab the back of my arm.

"Where do you think your off to?" the familiar voice spoke in a slow, causal manner as his nails dug into my skin while he pulled me back a few steps.

Jacob spun me around so that I ended up facing him. His jade eyes danced no doubt with amusement and he wore the smirk that always seemed to be on his face. I noticed that he no longer was in the torn clothing that he had had last night, but was dressed in a sleek black suit that was more appropriate for business.

"You have been asleep for more then half of the day so I assumed that locking the door wasn't going to have to be an issue, but you bounced back which I find surprising, considering all of the venom that is in your veins at this moment." for a moment he appeared confused but quickly his expression changed.

"V-venom?"I managed to ask, now afraid of the answer.

"Yes venom. Why do you think you feel so sick? Let me guess you have a skull splitting headache and hmm..let’s see, “he cupped my chin tightly with his hand and titled my face up,”and red eyes. Ah yes it all comes back to me now."

He continued to stare down into my eyes and I remembered the compulsion, so I shut mine tightly.

"You think thats all it takes for you to shut me out?" he laughed,"I can make you do anything I want you to, especially if your mind is as weak as your mothers. How do you think I nearly drove her mad? But then again your father was harder to control and he easily could shut me out when he wanted to. The question is can you, love?" his thumb brushed my cheek and with that he moved his hand.

"Oh well we could save that game for another day, but for now your going back to where you just came from." I opened my eyes, but the room spun around me and as I blinked, Jacob had scooped me up into his arms and was carrying me back down the hall.

I felt too weak to say anything or fight back, but what he had said had made me beyond pissed and I could feel my face burn as I clenched my fists.

"Don't worry the venom should be out of your system within the next few hours and then maybe I shall have figured out what to do with you, believe me I am not finished with you or your parents yet." he explained as he continued down the hallway.

Within seconds he had reached the room where I had recently, only just escaped. Walking inside, he nearly dropped me on the bed before taking a few steps back.

"If you try to escape I'm warning you, you will be punished and will be lucky to walk away with your life. Your to stay here until I say you can leave or come to get you myself. Is that clear?” he seemed impatient as he waited for an answer.

I didn't say anything. In a flash he was in right in front of me, but I refused to cower even as his fangs were now bared. His face had twisted into that icy, animal- like state and any second he looked ready to attack.

"Is that clear?" he demanded again.

Slowly I nodded and with that he was back by the door. I hated him. Never in my life had I had a reason to hate anyone so much until now.

"I know you hate me," he spoke after probably reading my mind, “just remember you’re not the first person who has and won't be the last person who will."

With that he left and shut the door quietly. I heard a lock turn this time and left hopeless, I curled my knees up into my chest and started to sob.
