My Boyfriend's Best Friend

Introduction :)

Friday Morning 

I got out and bed,  got ready for my day,  and went to class. 

University sucked the life out of me everyday. I hate waking up, even when its not early. Maybe today will be a good day, be more exciting. Probably not.

I see my best friend ,Janie, sitting at a table with a few people from class.

"STEPHANIE!" They all say. "Ready for class?" Janie says.

Of course not! I say with a sarcastic smile, I listened to Janie talk about some guy named Callum she had met at one of the clubs in London a few days ago. She seemed really struck on him. 

"He is like super famous! He has a YouTube channel, he plays Fifa!"  

"I really want you to meet him sometime Steph, he has a friend named JJ and he is right up your alley!"  She said with a big smile.

I'm not interested in dating right now Janie, i'm way too busy with homework and my job. If you didn't know, I work at a local Tesco to try to make some extra cash for spending whilst in Uni.

"Too Bad Steph, I already set up a double date with Callum and JJ, don't worry, you'll love them!"

Whatever, I said as I got up from the table and went to class.

Saturday Night

As I tried to find something nice to wear tonight, I got a knock on my door. 

Janie was standing there, she was wondering how much longer I was going to take. Considering I hadn't even picked out my outfit, it was going to be a while.

Janie rushed in to help me find something to wear. I settled on a red dress, and strappy black heels.

I was ready to go!

In The Restaurant

We walked into a really fancy restaurant where we saw Callum and JJ. They motioned for us to come and sit at the table with them. Janie sat beside Callum and I sat beside JJ. I was kind of nervous because i'm very shy around new people. Callum said the typical "Hi, how are you?" and I said the same back, then he carried on talking to Janie. 

JJ and I started a pleasant conversation about our lives, our jobs, where we were from, our families. The typical 'getting to know someone' conversation. I was surprised when I found out that he was also a YouTuber, with over 10 million subscribers! Somehow I hadn't heard of him. 

He told me that he really liked my outfit and that I looked very pretty. I blushed of course and shyly squeaked out a "thank you". He  was such a gentleman!

We ordered our food, and then I started talking to Callum and getting to know him whilst Janie talked to JJ. We all had a great time. I was very happy that I took the night off at Tesco's to come have dinner and meet them.  

Before I knew it, we were saying our goodbyes. I hugged Callum and then hugged JJ. He whispered in my ear his phone number and I quickly jotted it down in my contacts.

"Hope to see you guys soon!" Janie and I said to Callum and JJ

What a great person JJ is.
