Chapter 8

Iris was reading her book while Barry was dashing back and forth.

"Barry, dear. Slow down or you'll waist your speed. " iris said turning a page from her book.

Barry sigh and pulled his hair back.

"Iris how are you calm since Wally has a boyfriend and our Lil speedster has a crush! " Barry said throwing his hands up.

Iris laugh and close her book. She got up and kiss barry on the forehead.

"Oh barry. Just calm down and relax. Their still our speedsters. " iris smiled and walk to the kitchen.

Barry sigh and cross his arms while looking at the clock and smirk. He took his phone out and press on a caller ID.

"Hey, you busy? " barry said smiling at iris.

~Three Minutes Later~

Bart was playing volleyball with Cassie, M'gann, Zatanna, Beast boy, La'gaan, Jaime, Dick, Tim, Conner, Artemis, and Wally. Wally had Bart, Cassie, M'gann, Zatanna, and Tim.

Dick had Beast boy, La'gaan, Jaime, Artemis, and Conner. It was six vs six fair team. Wally smirk and threw the ball up to Zatanna who jump and hit it only to get hit back by Beast boy who shift as a monkey. M'gann hit her brother hit and watch it fly to Dick who tap the ball up and jaime jump from behind hitting it down hard (with khaji Da help) making both bart and zatanna jump back.

"JAIME!! " Zatanna and bart yelled making jaime laugh while giving dick a high five.

Barry was a far watching them closely with Hal Jordan aka green lantern help. Hal smiled at barry and chuckle.

"Man barry you are truly over protective. " hal said while crossing his arms.

Barry glare at hal and rolled his eyes.

"Oh whatever hal. " barry said.

"Wait is Jaime kissing Bart?! " hal gasp point at the group while his other hand was on barry shoulder.

"What!! " barry look back at the group.

Barry only saw them still playing and growled at hal who was laughing.

"Hahaa see over protective hahaa!! " hal laugh and wipe away some tears.

Barry sigh and lean on the wall watching Dick hit the ball to the ground where Bart miss to catch.

"Hey barry why are you watching them anyways? " hal ask while looking at his best friend.

Barry look at wally who push the ball up and push bart up when he ran to wally making bart jump high and kick the ball down making it crash next to beast boy who gasp in shock. Wally cheer when bart landed and hug bart while bart laugh.

"THAT WAS CRASH!! " wally yelled.

"I just don't want nothing bad to happen to them. They are family to me, hal. " barry said smiling when the girls jump on wally and bart.

Hal smiled at barry answer and put a arm around barry shoulder.

"Well buddy you are protective. " hal said smiling at barry.

Barry chuckle and push hal. Conner server the ball and watch as Tim hit the ball to Cassie who smirk and hit the ball but it went to far away.

"CASSIE!! " everyone yelled while Cassie blush and rub her head.

"Heeheee sorry. " Cassie said embarrassed that she use to much of her strength.

"I got it. " zatanna said. "Gnirb kcab eht llab! "

The ball then pop in front of zatanna who smiled and caught it. Barry sigh and nod his head at hal.

"Let's go hal. " barry said looking at hal who had two ice creams in his hands.

"I bought us ice cream. " hal said giving barry his ice cream.

Barry smiled and thanks hal. They left the beach leaving a group of teenagers who were having fun at the beach.
