HAUNTED

The Discussion

     Lying on her bed, somewhere near her was Dino who was told to take a good care of her during Reborn's absence and although she could relax for a bit, she still wasn't comfortable of the idea of the blonde male following her everywhere she went (well, bathing was a different story or even toilet case where he was asked to stay a bit further away from her). Dino on the other hand, still had his works coming over from Italy so as he eye Tsuna, keeping her close to him, he did his works where he was seen carrying his laptop, drafts of papers as well as folders which she did not recognize. Nana even let him slept in the exact same room as she was (as long as they didn't end up on the same bed). While Tsuna insists on Dino to sleep on a bed, Dino kindly refused and slept on a futon (though he admitted it himself that it was less comfortable). He just had to bear with it for a few days or so. 

"Dino-san..." Tsuna called.

"Hmn?" He answered with a short grunt, his eyes were still locked on his works.

"I feel bad having you to take care of me... and have you tutor me in Reborn's place," She said.

     Dino's attention was now facing Tsuna which made Tsuna who was lying, sat up straight, "Tsuna, you're like a little sister to me. I don't mind this at all." He smiled which eased the tensed up Tsuna. Soon, they were called for dinner by Ipin and Lambo with Lambo ended up tripping and crying. Since Romario was told to stay to 'observe' his boss by Reborn (since Dino was useless without his men), nothing bad ever happened to them and soon, Tsuna excused herself to get to bed. Both of them went to her room where Tsuna tucked herself in her bed while Dino pulled out his temporary futon and lied down. Dino then realized that he barely knew anything about Tsuna's school and all and so he asked her.

"Tsuna, I understand a bit about your school  background from Reborn but, is there anything else I should know?" He asked, just to be sure.

"Why'd you ask?" She asked him back.

"Well, I am going to school with you tomorrow," He answered firmly.

"Ehh??!! You can't!! If Hibari-san sees you, he'll kill us both!"She quickly sat up straight and turned her attention towards him which he just chuckled.

"Don't worry. I'll do something about it. You just get yourself to bed," He assured.

Still frowning, Tsuna lay down again and wondered about what might happen tomorrow and next you could see was that she was fast asleep, probably tired from playing with Lambo and Ipin that evening. Dino didn't notice she was already asleep and was talking to himself for a bit that he thought Tsuna heard of them, "Tsuna, being a mafia boss isn't that bad. You get to protect someone you love with the powers you have. Plus, being a boss meaning that you'll having your own family members. It's a gain, not a los-" He soon turned to see a peaceful sleeping face of Tsuna then he soon noticed that he was blushing a bit and smiled. 

"Buona notte, Tsuna." Somehow, his heart felt that small fluttery feelings for her which he ignored it since he only see Tsuna as no more than his little sister.

In the spirit world, G was seen walking towards Giotto while the other guardian's attention rested on his stature since the look on his face was pretty serious. Giotto lifted his head to find the face of his right-handman and stood up from his seat, "Is it that near?"

"Yes, so near. Once they get the ring, our presence can be seen again," G replied which made all of the guardians turned their face away, knowing that their beloved little decimos of their own would be able to see them again (except for Lampo since Lambo wasn't yet born). Their heart was filled with guilt especially Giotto and Alaude. For Alaude's case, he was sure that his Kyoya would definitely hate him so badly that they'd end up with a battle and for Giotto, his heart wasn't ready. He didn't know why but deep inside, he wanted her to see him but at the same time, he didn't. 

"But, there's a conflict about the ring," G added which Giotto's eyes widened.

"What do you mean?"

"The Varia has slowly made their moves. That brat Reborn is returning to Italy to persuade the 9th to leave Tsuna be but what he didn't know... The 9th has been held a hostage by the varia. An impostor is seating on his seat for a short temporal," G explained.

"That is... for 'Decimo' to handle," Giotto find himself hanging his head where the word 'decimo' was slightly pressed, where the intonation contained his guilt and sadness.

     Everyone's had nothing to say but just simply gave a silent agreement to his command. The world of the living had nothing to do with the world of the dead and the dead had nothing left to do with the living. Lampo on the other hand, didn't really understand everyone's grief but he understood that he was in no place to voice out his mind so he stayed silent until the atmosphere went back to normal thanks to Asari's idea of them to hang out somewhere.
