Seeing Tsuna's awakening, everyone knew there was hope. Primo who witnessed it could not be anymore prouder than this. It was shown to him that she, too, had the same power as he was although it was not fully awakened.

"Kufufufu, how saddening to see our cloud being pathetic like this," A voice came from the mist which awakened the furious skylark and glared towards the sudden appearance of the mist guardian. Yes. It was Rokudo Mukuro. Hibari charged at him but then disappeared into thin air, "Don't you think it's fun to bite an emo genius prince before dealing with me?". Hibari lost his interest and walked away, looking for the said man.

Tsuna on the other hand was too engrossed in fighting with Xanxus that she did not notice the heterochromatic man for a brief moment. Both Tsuna and Xanxus were exchanging blows as everyone witnessed how she managed to absorb some of his flames and made it into hers. Everyone was shocked at the same time, proud of how much she had grown.

While tsuna was busy, somehow Gokudera managed to move and saved Lambo from Levi even when he lost. Trying to hold on since he too was badly injured, it was a matter if time before they get beaten but luck had befallen them when both ryohei and yamamoto came to the rescue. By then, Yamamoto and Ryohei already met with both Asari and Knuckles and were now more confident than ever with them looking after them.

The fight between the guardian was about to come to an end but Tsuna was still fighting. With this, Xanxus smirked and took the opportunity to use Mosca as his shield as Tsuna thrust deeply. To everyone's horror, the Mosca opened and revealed a well-known old man as blood dripping from his chest at where Tsuna had stabbed him with hee burning hand. Her eyes widened with fear as she held the old man close. By then, Xanxus was laughing hard and accused her.

"YOU DID IT! SAWADA TSUNAKO IS THE ONE WHO KILLED THE NINTH! EVERYONE HERE IS THE WITNESS!" He pointed towards the shivering Tsuna as the old man spat blood.

Reborn had it enough, he did not care if it against the rule anymore and everything had been set up from the very beginning. The Cervello agreed on letting them joined but unfortunately, the place was caged and the infrared would not turn off. Everyone was panicking and Giotto himself was dumbfounded by it. This was the 2nd C'oup de Etat ever done by him but this time, his plan was a success.

Tsuna shivered and hugged the ninth, "I'm sorry.... I'm sorry... I didn't know... I didn't mean it..." Tears fell down the old man's cheek but then, a gentle flame touched her forehead. It was from Kyuudaime's fore-finger, "This is why I chose you as my successor... I heard everything about you from reborn. About the guy you like, about how you did in school. Even when you are incapable of doing things, you will always stand for righteousness. Sawada Tsunako, you... are my next successor." As he said it, his flames slowly vanished. Tsuna went into silent and the Cervello had recorded everything including the part where kyuudaime claimed tsuna as the next successor.

"Xanxus... I..." She got up, shivering not with fear but with anger. "You... I will never let you be the next successor!" He flames burnt real bright and big this time. They exchanged blows again and the fight became fierce. Hibari had already done fighting with Bel and all guardians were now focusing on her. Gio knew he had to do something. He went towards Tsuna and whispered something in her ear.

As soon as Tsuna caught hold of Xanxus, she chanted, "Zero point breakthrough: first edition..." Xanxus eyes widened.

"NO!! YOU SHOULDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS TECHNIQUE!! DAMMIT!! DAMMIT!!" And soon, he was completely frozen.

Tsuna's flame vanished as well as the infrared. She then lost her consciousness and before she fell, Reborn captured her first even when Dino was about to do the same. The Vongola special medical team and elites came to fetch them up and mend them up.

Reborn, with a smile, proudly uttered, "You did well. Now rest, Dame-Tsuna."  He then carried her home with an excuse of saying her falling down from their picnic towards Nana.
