Electrifying

Chapter 12

Electra’s Pov

 

William walked in after kissing Zena on the lips.

“You have got to be kidding me…” I mumbled to myself.

William looked pass Zena and smiled at me. “Lex!”

“Don’t call me that,” I said getting up.

“Lectra, where are you going?” Zena asked as I walked toward the back of the apartment.

“To the bathroom,” I told her without turning back. I walked into the green painted bathroom and leaned on the sink holding my head. I looked at the clock on the wall and reminisced on what happened between William and me. Once I was done with my angry thoughts I washed my hands and face. I looked into the mirror and sighed. I dried my face and walked out to the living room just to make a u-turn because I heard a baby crying. I walked into Zander’s room and found Éclair and Hiro wide awake. Hiro was crying because he was hungry and Éclair was staring at Zander in his crib. I smiled a little and walked over.

Hiro rubbed his eyes and kicked his feet. Éclair’s eyes immediately shot toward me and she smiled her lovely smile while kicking her feet. Eclipse was smiling and I knew she was having a good dream. After I changed the crying Hiro, I picked up Éclair and Hiro and soon after Zander started whining. I laughed to myself a little and left the room carrying two out of three of my babies.

William’s eyes widen when he saw I had not one but two babies in my hands. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch.

“Zena, Zander is up.”

“Thanks,” she said slowly getting up. She went to get Zander and left William next to me.

I feed Hiro his bottle and then burped him. Éclair was now whining because she was hungry. I cradled Hiro as I mixed Éclair’s food and began to feed her as she sat in the arm of the chair.

“Do you need any help?” William asked in an awkward tone.

“No thank you,” I answered not looking away from Éclair. I finished feeding her and wiped her mouth. “There you go sweetie, all done.”

Éclair giggled and smiled at me.

“So…you have two kids?” William asked me while looking around the apartment.

“No.”

“No?”

“No. I have three. Éclair has a twin sister, Eclipse.”

“Oh wow. Well, congrats?”

I sighed. “Look, I want nothing to do with you, stop talking to me.”

I picked up my children and left the room.

Serenity’s Pov

“Alec, it’s really you,” I said stunned.

“H-hey Serenity. How are you?” he asked uncomfortably.

“I-” I couldn’t speak I just turned around and ran back into the bathroom into a stall to throw up. I pushed my hair back and heard a knock at the door.

“W-who is it?” I asked still leaning over the toilet.

“Ren, it’s me,” I heard Himeko speak.

I flushed the toilet and wiped my mouth with tissue. As soon as I left the stall I washed my hands and brushed my teeth with the small carry toothbrush with the liquid toothpaste and rinsed my mouth. Once I finished, I looked at the water draining in the sink and began to cry. I’ve never really cried in my life. At least until I met Alec.
