Chapter 5 - The Neighbour

11th DECEMBER 2010

Dear Diary ,

I'm writing to you because i have no one to talk to .

I left my home ,  my best friends , my boyfriend , technically now my ex to follow my family to this town .

This is practically a ghost town . Seriously , the people are so little that pratically everyone knew each other .

But there is no one i knew .

I have no friends , at all .

And ... to make things worst there is a freaking weird nerd living next to me .  

The first time when i saw him , he was NAKED . I couldn't even ....

He never talk to me because all he did was ... stare .

YES dear diary , he keeps staring .

What's worst ? 

My room is across his .

BAAAAM...

Why are things so complicated .

I just want to go back to my hometown .

God help me .

Augustus P.O.V. 

I can felt the corner of my mouth slightly raised .

And i smiled.

I can still remember that day . The memories were still fresh in my mind . 

The day , my savior , my bestfriend came into my life .

I never gave anyone or anything these much attention in my life .

And i'm glad i met here .

I still remember ...

"AUGUSTUS REDD !!! WAKE UP !! WAKE UP !!!! C'MON !!!!! " 

WHACK !! 

My brother just smacked me in the head with a pillow . 

"Someone moved in just right nex- "  I cut him off .

"Just leave me alone , can't i get a good sleep? It's Sunday bro ..." I was frustrated . 

"But there's a girl ... " I heard him saying while peeping through the window .

"She .... looks like your age ... and WOW she looks quite pretty ... C'mon take a look Aus !! " I felt my body  slowly being dragged away .

THUMP ...

And i was thrown to the floor .

It hurts.  

"SETH REDD !! Ugh... " I can felt pain all over my body , thanks to my bro .

" Come take a look ... " He was cautiously peeping the window . 

I was furious .

I stayed up all night the night before to study but he...

"WHAT WHAT WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT ME TO SEE... WHAAA.... " I flipped the curtains open , wide . 

I froze .

There was a girl  .

Her long dirty blonde hair  was long , passing through her shoulders , lightly reached her waist .It flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin.  She had this elegant smooth bone structure and that tiny little nose . Her sky blue eyes stared  into the distance   . 

She looked just like an angel. 

 I want to look at her as long as possible and drink it in. 

"Wow i sounded like a creepy weirdo. "  I thought to myself.

She turned , and  her eyes met mine  . Her eyebrows scrunched together . But even with that face she seemed perfect.

"Aus... close that curtain  ... NOW !! "

"WHaaaat.... Why? " And something strucked me .

I slept naked .

I  drew the curtains together immediately while i threw myself to the floor covering my face , embarrassed .

"SHOOT !!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER ... D..Did...Did she saw ? " I  was flustered and  mostly mad at my brother . 

But DAMN she was pretty .

The next few days , all i could do was stared  at her .

Staring , when she's infront of her house , in her backyard  and when she's in her room ... if i get lucky  that her curtain was opened .

She could be watering the plants , playing with her dog or reading a book by the window.

I really felt like a weirdo . All i could do was stare .

 And stare , 

And stare ,

 Aaaaaand stare.

Because what happened on the first day was too embarrassing .

" Still staring Aus ?? " A small wind blew into my ear softly .

I jumped in shock .

" Damn Seth can you not do this ?? You're giving me a fright ." My brother  was standing behind me laughing like a maniac.

" HA..HAAA..HAAAHAHA .. Loo..Look at your face . Serves you right for being a pervert in such a young age who keeps staring at people  ." He wiped a tear from his eyes because he was laughing so hard , he cried .

"I'm not young anymore , i'm 12 years old Seth . "

" That's brother for you . " He commented .

Rolling me eyes , i turned my back on him .

" Why don't you just try to talk to her . Don't be a wimp and GO !" He forcefully pushed me out the front door .

Tumbling down the steps my face smacked onto the floor .

"OUCH .... SEEEETH DA... " I jumped up from the ground realising she was looking at me .

"This is your chance . TALK TO HER  !!"  I was fighting with myself in my head.

" Uhhh.. HI ! I'm Augustus and yo- "

"Dandelion ." She spoke .

Her voice was hard to describe . It just sounded like an angel.

"Huh ?? Dandelion ?? Where is- " I was dazed .

"Dandelion Quinn . My name is Dandelion , like the weed . " Her sky blue eyes stared into mine while her lips moved in slowed motion .

That's when i first fall for her .

I remembered now .

She was my first crush.

There is it !! It's finally up ! The fifth chapter . 

I was going to write this chapter days ago but things kept coming up . I'm in my 12th grade and there is soooo much things i had to do . Homework , revisions and volleyball training . I'll try to update as soon as possible i promise !!
