Walking down a dark lonely alley, I could feel a pair of eyes trained on my every step. The cold stare of the eyes sent shivers down my spine. I attempted to ignore the gaze that followed me and kept on walking. A minute or two passed and I couldn't ignore the person following me any longer. I threw my eyes over my shoulder and made eye contact with my mysterious stalker, her mouth turned up into a smirk when she realised I was aware she was following me.

I quickened my pace straight away, walking so fast I may as well have been running. I looked over my shoulder every few seconds to see how far from me my stalker was, and she kept getting closer no matter how fast I ran. Next thing I knew I had reached a dead end. I was trapped... or so my stalker thought.

My stalker reached me in seconds after running at a pace so fast it was like the speed of a car. "Nowhere to run now, is there?" The blonde asked, the smirk still growing. She looked as she had me right where she wanted me and that was the moment I could finally relax, because I knew my plan was working.

"Lila, isn't it?" I asked as if I was greeting an old friend. She looked really confused about how I knew her name. "Yeah you're the one who killed my boyfriend's sister! Now it's your turn," I said as I staked her right in the heart, and it was my turn to smirk when I saw the colour began to fade from her body and her veins could clearly be seen.

Six days ago, my boyfriend's sister Laura was found dead on her college grounds and the death was officially filed under "animal attack". I know better though, I went with my boyfriend, Mike, to see Laura's body and the marks I saw on her neck were bite marks from a vampire. I'd been spending the past few days with Mike and his family in New Jersey for the funeral and putting other affairs in order. While they needed time to themselves, I'd been spending time researching vampire attacks surrounding the college and eventually tracked down Lila. Lila appeared to be a pretty young vampire with not much experience with covering her tracks, making her easy to track down.

Next of all I hear 'Titanium' to start to play from my phone, my ringtone for Mike. I pick up straight away.

" Hey, what's up," I say casually answering my phone.

"Vixie, where are you? You okay?" he replied worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just went wandering around. I'm at a Starbucks on the corner of street," I answered with a chuckle.

"You were supposed to meet me at the hotel room twenty minutes ago we have to head back home soon," I could hear the disappointment I his voice. If he only knew that I just avenged his sister's death, that she did get justice. He wouldn't be disappointed then but the sad thing is he'll never know. He'll never get to know what I do and I fear that it could be the end of us one day.

"Oh, sorry babe. I lost track of time I'll there soon okay?"

"Okay, see you soon. Love you."

"Love you too," I replied wholeheartedly before he hung up.
