Shapes are the main source of EXP in Diep.io. Shapes are divided by EXP 'Tiers' with Tier 1 being the Yellow Squares, Tier 2 being the Red & Pink Triangles, Tier 3 being the Blue Pentagons, and Tier 4 being the Alpha Pentagons. They regenerate health over time, and can only deal body damage.
SQUARES:
Squares are the low-level farms in Diep.io, and on death reward the player with 10 EXP. They can be converted into Drones with a Necromancer.
RED TRIANGLES:
Red Triangles are the second weakest shape in the game. They reward 25 EXP on death.
PINK TRIANGLES:
Pink Triangles spawn around the edges of the Pentagon Nest. They are a mix of Red Triangle and Drone. Once locked on, it will hunt you down until either it dies, you die, or you turn invisible. Small Pink Triangles have the same health as a Square, and will reward 15 EXP once killed. Large Pink Triangles have the health of a Red Triangle, and reward 25 EXP on death.
PENTAGONS:
Pentagons are the second strongest shape in the game. They are scattered across the map, but concentrated in the middle. They reward 130 EXP on death.
ALPHA PENTAGONS:
Alpha Pentagons are giant versions of Pentagons. They spawn only in the Pentagon Nest, and reward 3000 EXP on death. However, the chances of receiving this EXP is low since the majority of high-level players farm them. Killing these using body damage is not recommended, since they have so much health they will barely take any damage.
