Never waking up

But I didn't wake up. Without showing Hiro, I did actually pinch myself to make sure of that. " Welcome to Japan also. How has it been treating you so far?'' His genuine interest made me relax more then I thought it would. ''Well for the few days I've been here I can already say its better than I imagined when I was back at home. This country is... so welcoming to me. Which was a big comfort.'' I spoke looking down slightly with a smile on my face when I remembered just how much better I'd been feeling ever since I got here. ''I can relate to that. I travel a lot and it's always wonderful to meet new people and see new places. But this country feels like home and not just because I was born here.'' Our eyes met and I could see the same calm smile I was wearing now. I had forgotten how enchanting his smile was. He glanced over to Shun, making me check how their conversation was going to. They seemed to be having fun.  Then he continued. "You should really do something with that talent of yours you know." I likes at him slightly shocked. Not only was I talking to one of my idols, no he wanted me to pursue my dream. "I could even help you if you'd like. It can be hard making it into that world, I know all about it. But I do know some people who could help you out a bit." My eyes widened and a smile appeared on my face. This could be the chance of a life time. In my old life back home I wouldn't have stood a chance to make that happen and then I leave everything behind and one of my idols offers me a chance that honestly, I couldn't refuse. Without further thinking I started nodding frantically with my excitement clearly showing. He then picked up a napkin and asked one of the maids for a pen. He wrote down two phone numbers and handed the napkin over to me. "The top one if my number and the lower one is the number of a friend of mine who's in the music industry. You can call me anytime and as far as my friend goes, I'll let him know tomorrow that you'll call him somewhere in this upcoming week. Don't forget to let me know if you find yourself another gig." I just kept nodding and stuttered out  a silent 'thank you' then looked at the time. God it was late. I should've gotten back already. Tomorrow I would go on a temple viewing trip with Kayla! I stood up and tapped on Shina's shoulder. "Shina, I have to go. If you want you could join and sleep over at our hotel room?" She nodded and bowed to the man before her and said her goodbyes. I turned to Hiro and also bowed. "Thank you so much for this opportunity. I won't let you down, I promise." He looked at me with a familiar gentle smile and nodded. "I'lol hear from you okay? Take care of yourself. Until next time." Both he and Shun waved at us while we left the building and both me and Shina turned to each other and yelled completely
insync. "Oh My God!" She began after that "Oguri Shun really is as adorably awkward and gentlemanlike as I always imagined he would be!" We jumped up and down a few times then I continued. "And Mizushima Hiro really is such a talented person and such a sober, down to earth guy. He is so nice. He's going to help me out and get me in touch with people that can help me build a music career!" At that point Shina literally stopped jumping and maybe even breathing as she looked at me with complete shock. She probably had to process this information because yes, that meant what she thought it meant. And at that point we both Elle's in sync once again. " we're going to see them again as well!" We laughed at how stupid we must've looked to the people walking past us so we decided while continuing to fangirl (but slightly calmer) to start walking towards the hotel.

"He gave me his number and the number of a friend in the business as well. AND he insisted on me letting him know if I find myself another gig." The evening air was gentle and very enjoyable as we walked through Tokyo. We had calmed down a bit and now discussed this evening on a more proper level of volume. "I still can't believe it Shina. I leave everything behind because of a small thing that happened and the second I get here it seems like life is rewarding me with so many of my dreams in life." I couldn't keep smiling but then again neither could she. I was pretty sure she felt as happy and content in this moment as I did. "I'm really glad Jade." She spoke up. " Of course you're glad, you met Oguri freaking Shun!" She giggled in reply then shook her head. " Not just that. Things finally seem to be working out for you and I'm happy for you." I nodded with an even bigger smile and thanked her.
The rest of the way we just walked in silence. Enjoying this beautiful evening and all that just happened. So much happened in these few days that I honestly hadn't even had time to think about the pain I was running away from yet. And quite frankly if it was up to me? I would never have to think about that ever again.
