Eridan shook the cell looking for any possible way out. Of course, next to the small animal cage that sat on the floor was a desk with the keys hanging from the edge like they were taunting him. He struggled against the cell door trying to kick it open when he heard the faintest whine come from behind him. He recognized the troll as his new playmate and what his father had told him. He's still very weak from the looks of it, suppose he had no choice at this point. If he knew anything about the yellow bloods is that some of them posses psychic abilities, maybe he can put his little friend to use.
Just as his thoughts started to wander his pupils dialated and his earfins stood on edge, he caught scent of his father's blood and it seemed to grow stronger every second. The smell of other trolls clouded his scences, screams of terror and blood coated the air thickly. Eridan weld up in tears of joy at the thought of his father surely coming to rescue him. "Papa!" The door to Mindfang's cabin slid open a few inches, Eridan stalked the sound of the light patter of a child's feet as he waited in anticipation. A little girl with the same cerulean blood as his kidnapper. Her smile was in fact devious and scheaming and no different than the evil woman that put him here. "Why are you in a cage?" Her voice was innocent as she sat in front of them. Eridan stayed quiet trying not to affiliate with the girl who might as well be his enemy. "Can you talk?" The girl was persistent. He simply everted his eyes and ignored her. "Tell me your name." Eridan narrowed his eyes at her, her questions only pestered him poking at his temper which he'd rather leave untouched in his current circumstances. "Why are you crying?" Heavy footsteps approache them and the young girl quickly scurried under the desk. The door to Mindfang's cabin swung open startling the both of them, the poor young psionic awoke and began to whimper, tears threatening to spill and with the slightest cry Erdan shushed him. Patting his cheek and gently holding him they awaited their freedom. Heavy labored breathing and the foul metallic stench of blood lingered. The jangling of keys caught their attention as ringed fingers reached down to unlock the cell. "Eridan...son?" Hearing his father's deep sultry voice he bolted out of the cage wrapping his arms around his father's leg and finally he'd let his tears fall.

(This...this is what happens when you stay up late standing around looking for pokemon, on "Pokemon Go". Bet this chapter is really short but I'm really tired and it's almost 2:00...I need some sleep but hopefully I can get some more updates in tomorrow and if not then in the next couple days because I've been writing chapters for other stories and "Mechanical Heart" will have its first chapter soon! So goodnight!)
