***Jenny was trying to calm herself but the scenes keep playing on repeat in her head.
"*Heavily breathing* Ugh... one of those nightmares again. When is this gonna stop?"
She said to herself.
BREAK
CRACK
She jumped off her bed when she heard something broke from the living room.
While getting near the window she heard laughter and engines roaring.
"Those dimwits again?"
She asked herself.
"Hey! If you don't want your heads off your body stop this bullcrap!"
She threatened them.
With that they drove away.
Ugh, what a nice morning.
She said sarcastically to herself.
I can't believe I actually lasted here for five years.
She shook her head as realization hit her.
"Well, I won't let them ruin my day."
She stretched her arms and tied her shoulder length hazelnut hair in a bun.
She looked at her black Casio watch.
Seven-thirty am?
"Time to eat breakfast."
She cooked for herself.
Eggs and Bacons to start the day, and one cup of hot chocolate.
Jennifer Alexa Mortez, her mother Elisha died after she gave birth of her.
Her father, Thomas, got a car accident.
She was so young that time, the look on her dead father's corpse never leaves her mind every single day, she was eight years old when the accident happened.
And now that she's nineteen her aunt Clementine is supporting her.
She didn't get a chance to finish college because of financial problems, but now that her aunt has enoung money to support her she doesn't want to go college anymore, even she, herself doesn't know why.KNOCK
KNOCK
"Jenny?"
She stood up from eating and opened the door, it was her aunt Clementine.
She kissed her aunt's cheek the moment she stepped in.
"What brings you here aunty?"
She asked while serving a cup of hot coffee for her aunt.
"Jenny, I know you don't want to go to college but, are you really sure about that?"
She placed the cup in the front of her aunt and sat down.
"Aunty, I am sure about my decision. You don't need to worry about that."
"But, what's your purpose of finishing high school if you wouldn't continue? You made an effort for nothing?"
Jenny chuckled."Aunt Clementine, I finished high school for something but that doesn't mean I'm wasting those hard work for nothing, I know, I'm not going to college and all, but I know that what I've learned will always help me."
She looked straight at her aunt's eyes.
Her aunt sighed."I guess I can't do anything about it then."
"You know, aunty, you should just pay more attention to uncle Jim and his situation in the hospital right now, take care of him and yourself, instead of worrying about me. I'll be fine, I'm already matured enough, I found a job for me and I'm okay with it."
Her aunt looked at her.
"My manager likes me, the owner trusts me and I'm always happy helping every costumer that enters the store. Plus, the manager said that by the time he retires he'll give me his position, so I'm just gonna wait for a little more and I will achieve my goal."
Her aunt sighed once again, a sign of retreat.
"Okay then, just remember, we're always here support you with your decisions."
Her aunt smiled at her.
She hugged her aunt.
She grew up being with her, she already treated her aunt like her own mother that if anything bad will happen to her, Jenny wouldn't know what she could do to herself.
"Bye bye aunty."
She bid goodbye and kissed her aunt on the cheek.
"Take care of yourself dear, and always keep your guards up..."
She nodded and closed the door as her aunty walks away.
