"Alice!"
A girl shouted from Jenny's back.
She looked back and saw a girl with a mask, half of it having a smile and the other frowning.
She took a step back and bumped against something.
She turned her back and saw the girl named Alice on the cold hard ground, pale faced, and has no sign of life.
She looked at Alice's body for a minute then looked back again.
There she saw nothing but darkness.
And for one more time she turned around, she saw Alice's body, lying on a pitch black floor now bleeding.
"Jennifer..."
A girl's voice whispered to her ear.
She turned around for one last time and saw the girl who called Alice a while ago, on her back she hides a sharp bloodstained knife.
"R-run away... before... she gets y-you.."
Those were the final words of Alice.
Jenny looked for the girl, unfortunately she couldn't see her.
She looked back on Alice's corpse.
"Surprise! Ahahahaha!"
Alice stood up and tried to stab her with a knife but she managed to dodge it. She ran and ran as fast as she could, until a hand grabbed her foot and pulled her down, water was filling the dark place as hands pull her down.
There was a figure.
Sharp teeth.
Crimson red eyes.
Black body.
A phantom.
Jenny woke up, checking herself and the whole room.
She was still in her bedroom.
It was four twenty-seven a.m.
She was sweating and chasing after her breath. She cried.
"Dad..."
The only word that she managed to utter.
She can't avoid but think about her dad.
Especially whenever she's scared.
He's been her protector.
And now that he's gone, she doesn't know what to do, all she wants is to feel her father's presence, his love, his warmth, him saying positive things everytime she's scared.
She misses him, so bad.
She cried until she fell asleep again.
-beep-beep-beep-
She opened her eyes only to see sunlight.
"Hmm... better get ready."
She stood up and fixed her bed.
She went to her kitchen and ate breakfast, then she took a shower.
After checking everything in her house, when she finally felt safe she went to the store she works in.
Surprised she was when she saw the store surrounded by people, police and ambulances whisperings are heard around the area.
She went close to see what's happening.
She fell on her knees as she saw blood on the store's glass door.
"Wh-what...happened here?"
She asked a police near her.
"We still don't know yet miss, do you know the persons who's inside?"
She nodded.
"Y-yes... I-I work here..."
She said trying to stop her tears from falling.
"We'll do an investigation, as for now I advice you to go home and take some rest for today and we'll inform you as soon as possible."
The man said reassuring her.
She was about to walk home when she saw a familiar face coming out of the side door, where the cops wouldn't notice.
They we're all in the front side where they believe everything happened.
It was a girl.
She chased after her until she reached an old factory.
"Hello!"
She called out.
"I know you. Get out, now."
She commanded as she wanders her eyes.
"Okay, you got me now."
A lady went out of the dark.
Her age was probably in the middle of twenties.
She has a long brown hair, a height of approximately five-seven and is wearing a gray hoodie, black highcut Chuck Taylor and tight jeans, her complexion was pale, her lips bloody red and her eyes were olive green.
"Hi, Jennifer."
