"How do I look?" Adjusting my fake glasses a bit and checking my tiny figure in the huge bathroom mirror, I spoke out.
I'd tried to make myself look somewhat elegant for this mission. Straightened my hair, wore a formal black dress and even found a silver handbag and appropriate jewellery to match.
"Amazing. Now, in the left pocket of your handbag, there is a handgun if you need it." said Red-Hawk on the other end of the handy microchip that was hidden inside my ear. "Agent Harrison and Agent Ellis will be somewhere around your table for when you need back up."
"Great. Right, let's go." Taking a deep breath, I walked straight out into the main restaurant area. After a bit of conversation with the waiter at the door, I was swiftly lead down to the table where my "date" was sitting.
"Hi, you must be Sam." I chirped as the man sat at the table stood up to greet her.
Sam had chestnut brown hair held up in a strong quiff and more than a lot of stubble, which made him look 100x better in person.
"And you must be Rosie. Nice to meet you." He flashed a cheeky smile and embraced me in a little hug before the two of us sat in our seats and got right to ordering.
About 2 tables down from our own sat Agent Harrison and Ellis. Just as Red-hawk had said.
Perfect.

"So, tell me about yourself." We had just about started eating and I took a little sip of my red wine before beginning to answer his question.
"Well, my name's Rosie." A contagious little giggle escaped me as I said this, making Sam chuckle too. "I work in the marketing department at Apple."
I was simply quoting the character profile that Red-hawk had given me earlier that day. But with a bit of acting, I'd made it practically believable.
"Apple? Wow." Sam's bright blue eyes widened and I tossed another award-winning smile, which made Sam return the same. "That's so cool. So, do you get a discount on the products and stuff?"
"Of course!" I fished out my iPhone from her pocket and waved it about. "Got this 50% off."
That was a lie, of course. Red-Hawk actually bought it for me. I totally wanted to refuse as he was always trying to take care of me in one way or another but he insisted.
The date continued and the both of us chatted on and on about an endless list of things. He was definitely having fun and basically deceived, by my wonderful acting, to believe I was having a great time too.
But really, he was the most boring person ever and I was about to fall asleep.
"Well, this was fun." I told him as a waiter set down the bill on our table.
"Yes, it was. Oh and, I have a gift for you."
A gift? The ring.
"Seriously? For me? Oh, how kind!" I gasped as Sam brought out, as expected, a huge diamond ring.
"Get ready to grab your gun." Red-hawk's voice returned into my ear after what seemed like quite a while, making me internally do a thousand flips and somersaults. I thrived off the excitement and that was exactly what came next.
"Oh my gosh, Sam!" I pretended to be completely overwhelmed whilst holding my precious gun tight underneath the table. He put the ring on me and we both chuckled at each other, thanking one another for the delightful night.
"Okay, now go in for a hug and do your thing, Dee." Red-hawk said.
"Come 'ere." I beckoned Sam in for a hug, moving my gun underneath the table in my hand as we got closer till they were embracing each other tight.
I quickly placed the gun right to his head, watching as his face suddenly changed from delight to utter realization.
"Listen real good, sunshine 'cause I'm only saying this once." I whispered pretty violently inside his ear. "I'm from the MI5 and you're under arrest. What's going to happen is we're going to walk out of this restaurant together straight to the police car. Don't comply and I'll pull this trigger. You're surrounded so don't try any shit."
Sam, or James now, swallowed difficultly in slight fear and nodded quickly. Easier than expected.
As planned, the criminal and I walked out of the restaurant and down the practically deserted street, accompanied by the two agents sent for backup. My gun was placed right at Sam's back as we walked.
Just then, Sam jerked my hand, making the gun fly out. Everything happened super fast and all I see is him leg it away.
"Fucking hell." I cussed under my breath, grabbing my gun and removing my heels to begin sprinting after the man.
This is where all this spy training camps at age 12 comes in handy.
The chase continued on down to a dark alleyway, where Sam and I were about 5 meters away from each other. Which was definitely not enough for me to grab him.
I had a brilliant idea though. As I continued to run, I launched one of my heels at the wall. It bounced off and narrowly missed him.
Dammit. Second time lucky?
I tried again, mentally praying it'd hit him as we couldn't run after each other forever and I was beginning to grow tired.
Luckily, this time it successfully hit Sam, knocking him onto the floor. I stopped at where he had fallen and pointed the gun at him in a rather threatening manor.
The two backup agents appeared beside me in a matter of seconds, a little out of breath from the chase. Unlike me.
"Finished running yet? Because I'd love to give this thing a little go..." I twirled the gun in my hand, scowling at him.
"Y-you're not going to use that." Sam held the side of his head, presumably where the high heel hit him, and gave me a death glare.
"Oh really?" I sneered, quickly shooting at his leg, making him screech in pain.
"Danika!" I heard Agent Ellis basically tell me off.
"Sorry!"
Oops. Got a bit carried away there.
