this poem is inspired from Hans Andersen's fairytale "The garden of paradise"
hope you like it :)
*************************************
once in the days of magic and rhymes
grew up a prince
who wondered about Garden of Paradise
he wanted to cross its fence
and dance with butterflies
eating the flowers which taste
as sweet as cakes
he went wandering in the woods
and the rain fell on him
he lost he is power and strength
and he was close to lose his sense
he found a fire
lead by a strong woman
who was the mother of the 4 winds
one of them promised
to take him on his wings
the prince arrived
in The Garden of Paradise
valley of roses
that it's perfume delight the noses
leafs that shapes into animals
lions, tigers and phoenix
and a beautiful fairy
who is sweet as berry
she danced with him all night long
but when the light is gone
she warned him
she will call him to come
but he should not
he must refuse
or the Paradise will sink
so think
before you come
but the prince listen did he not
and came to her
she warned him from her spur
she was weeping when he came
he said "are thee weeping for me?!
weep for me not"
he kissed her tears
which was sweet
as a lovely night with peers
he kissed her
he has sinned
the fairy vanished from sight
and the paradise sunk
because of the prince bight
he woke up
looked at the sky
to see a bright star
it was the morning star
where the garden of paradise is there from now on
the mother of wind was angry
"from the first night?!
son, you put your self in a plight,
if you were one of the winds you would be put in the sack
from night
to light"
"he shall be put in one"
said Death
"You shall be put in a black coffin
I will leave you with your sin
to live on
if you do good
and made no harm
you shall be back to the star
the beautiful bright star
but if you shall be evil
you shall go nowhere
and I think you are aware
that I will come to you in the moment that you least expect
so its your call
either to rise
or to fall"
