Sometimes you make up your mind
To set aside all thoughts of love
But there is an anomaly called emotion
That begs to defy all thoughts of practicality
People say love isn't a feeling, but a choice
Tell me then, please do explain
The roaring voice that declares its place
What else was I supposed to do except
listen to my heart
And follow its ways

But your heart, it's very deceitful
It spins you around, dropping you down
In places you don't wanna go

Sometimes experience is the only thing
That teaches you to listen to your mind

Keep your emotions out of the picture
