The sound of waves crashing on the shores brought about a sense of tranquility. I gazed at the beautiful person beside me.
"More beautiful than the sunset," I muttered, cuddling up to him. He rubbed my back as I kissed his cheek.
Watching the sunset was something we always wanted to do, but our schedules weren't able to afford the luxury to sit down and enjoy one another's company.
But just this once, we were able to take time off our busy schedules - he was on his short leave from the army; I took an off day from work - to sit and soak in the warmth and love of the other.
He sighed with content as he saw how snug I was beside him. He rested his head on my head.
"You're enough for me."
