"You make me feel giddy, and I laugh too much around you, and your name brings butterflies to my stomach, and when you walk into a room my heart speeds up, and even just thinking about you makes me smile." ~Unknown

"Who the hell is so important that you have to constantly text them?" Cam's annoyed voice is what brought my attention back to reality, my eyes looking up from my phone screen where I was rereading Paige's and mine messages.
Paige, that's who.
"N-no one." I stuttered, letting out a cough to cover the butterflies that were taking over the nerves in my stomach, trying not to make it obvious I was crushing over her.
You've only known her for three days Gavin, get a hold of yourself. She doesn't even live near you.
"Mhm," He mumbled sarcastically, making me roll my eyes out of habit. "Anyways, what should we do?" Cam dragged out his last word, indicating the amount of boredom that swam around the two of us. His statement got me thinking, but all it ever ended up with was Paige.
Text Paige. Visit Paige. FaceTime Paige. Paige, Paige, Paige.
I just could get her out of my head, and I wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing at the moment. "Gavin? Gavin!" A stinging sensation penetrated throughout my left cheek, making me wince, giving Cam a death glare.
"What the hell!?" I shouted out of immediate anger, let's just say I have a bit of an anger issue. Cameron broke out into a fit of laughter, my facial expression staying serious as anger boiled through my veins. "Cameron, that's not funny." I insisted, punching his shoulder as hard as I could, making him fall off the park bench we were currently sitting on.
"Dude chill out, not my fault you were cooped up in la la land." He scoffed, standing up and brushing off his cache shorts before sitting back down next to me. I let out a frustrated huff, now focused on doing something physical, trying to get my mind off of Paige. "Think fast!" Before I knew it, my head shot up as an orange sphere came hurdling towards me, my hands shooting up in instinct. "Nice catch." My eyes weakly opened, not expecting to see the basketball sit perfectly between both of my hands.
Dang.
A confident smirk tugged at the corners of my mouth, making it obvious I was about to win this game. "One on one?" I question, making sure it was like usual.
"As always." Cam flashed a toothy smile, spinning around on his heels and booking it towards the court. I rolled my eyes before doing the same, concentrating on keeping my balance.
Right left, right left.
"Who starts?" Cameron said, cracking his fingers and his neck before looking back at me. I shrugged.
"Your ball, I guess." He smirked, holding out his hands for me to pass. I held the ball up to my chest, taking a step forward and letting the ball roll off my fingers directly towards Cam's chest. He caught it with ease, examining it before dribbling it a few times. I bent my knees slightly, my butt out more as my feet shuffled to guard him from shooting, jumping once he took a shot.
