Minor Reset

Chapter3*

"Grace, I need to talk too you!" Mike shouted.

"Uggh you again," I said looking at him. "What!"

"My friend is having a party and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me as a -" He started.

"If you want me to be your date, too you friend's party than the answer is 'as if!'" I said. I turned on my left wheel of my wheelchair and turned a 90 degrees facing the school hallway.

"Grace, darling, hold up!" Perched Renà's voice."Troy is having his spring break party tonight, who are you coming with?"

"Erm, Mike! He asked me if I wanted to go with him tonight and I said yeah. Who are you going with?" I asked in return.

"Duh! The party's host himself, Troy! And I thought you and Mike, isn't a thing, you know like going on dates and being carried. You guys sure act like a couple." Rena confirmed.

"Actually," Mike butted in from behind me. He was probably was still there after I told Rena that he was going with me. "We are a couple"

"Come again?" I asked confused, me and MIke are not a thing!

He continued to run his mouth, "We wasn't planning on telling anyone, but we're going out. And I was going to announce that on our date tonight, too my buddies."

My mouth hung open with shock, but was than sealed as he kissed me on my cheek. 

"Later babe, see you after school. Pick you up at 8 sharp!" Mike hollered already down the hall.

I was there sitting on the seat of my wheelchair looking up on Rena. 

"Well than see you there." Rena said and walked away. I can tell she walked away and tried to pull it off that she was fine, but I can see that vain popping from her head.

~~ 2 Hours later ~~

Mike was everywhere today. He was there to push me to class on my wheelchair. By me my favorite snack (cheez it)  from the snack machine after my gym, even though I sat out. Got my jacket from my locker, when it rained and I was out in the court yard(10minutes away from my locker). And all today I didn't thanked him, or asked why was he being my fake boyfriend, but i tend to ask at lunch.

At lunch, I always sit at the center table, because that table is the center of attention. I'm always the first person to get my lunch and sit there first, but guess who was already there.

"Hey Mike, baby." I said to him while rolling to my table. "Okay now you have five minutes to explain now, why you told Rena we was a couple!"

"If it bothers you so much, why didn't you tell Rena that I was lying?" He asked.

"Because, I wasn't sure what you were up to, and Mike what are you up to?" I asked like an investigator.

"I know that Rena had a crush on me forever, and I know that she told you." He begun.

"Correct, get to the point." I rushed him.

"Rena have been throwing herself on me for the a while now and she is getting all the girls off my way. And if you're in her way, than she will bring you to the bottom!" Mike said.

"Why does it matter to you? You're a guy, this shouldn't matter to you. And besides I can just volunteer get out of her way."

"But you wouldn't because if you can just get out of her way. But if you don't than you can be even more popular her and isn't that what you wanted?" Mike confirmed.

"How do you know what I want?" I asked.

"Because I know you." He said. "Besides I just asked Layne what was wrong with you."

I stared at him, so the only reason he is acting like we're going out is to make Rena mad? And If Rena gets mad she would terminate me, or if I'm better than her than I can terminate her, becoming more popular than her.e

"To be honest, I really don't care how that goes down, I just want to see a bit drama go down for the first time in Rocky Mountain." Mike added.

"Drama? Mike are you gay?" I asked.

"No," he laughed. "Here I got you lunch". He handed me my usual lunch, pizza and fries.

"Mike for and jackass you're the best boyfriend ever" I complimented while rolling my eyes.

"Great here comes, Rena" He said, "Now don't forget how I'm the best boyfriend ever."

With that he laid his lips on mines. First I was totally grossed out, because he didn't warn me, but her made it up with his lips.

"Em-my-Gawd, get a room you guys" Rena shouted, even though my eyes was closed I can tell that she was rolling her eyes. And because she shouted, the whole cafeteria was looking at us kiss. I never really though that making someone this jealous would bring so much happiness. "Are you  guys done with y'all make up session?" She asked.

Just because she said that I wanted to keep my lips against his, that was before he darted his tongue in his mouth! I pulled away quickly, "Sorry my phone is ringing!" I quickly got up and tried running away, that would had work if my other leg wasn't broken! I hit the floor with a dud!

"Babe you okay?" Mike ran up to me.

"Yeah, I'm good." I said.  My iPhone 5 was on the floor in pieces. "Rena, can you check my phone to see if its okay?" Rena inspected my phone for minor injuries.

"Nope, it looks fine, the screen isn't broken." Rena said putting the battery back in it's slot and gave it to me.

By that time I was sitting safely in my wheelchair again. I took my phone and restarted it, "Shit it's not turning on!" I said.

"Here I will fix it, I'm good with techno stuff." Mike offered, taking the iPhone out of my hand.

"Like hacking..." I whispered. Mike doesn't really tell people this, but he is an hacker. He could hack someone password, security camera, and locker combinations. He can also be slick without the techno stuff, he is a good stealer.

"Pardon?" Mike asked.

"Nothing, I said can you bring me my phone back by tomorrow." I said.
