I woke up super sore. My back didn't hurt so much, but I felt drained. I was in a huge, king sized bed. I was so comfy and the warm blanket made it just that much better. Suddenly, I opened my eyes and realized that I didn't hear my alarm clock go off, which meant I was late. When I focused on my surroundings I knew this wasn't my room. Then all my memories of yesterday came rushing to my head. I fell asleep in a man's arms! Oh my goodness I was kidnapped! I opened my mouth to scream but I thought differently. Maybe I could try to escape undetected. I mean if I could escape from my dad detected, I could escape a stranger undetected?

I got up and searched the room. I walked over to the window and saw we were deep in the woods. I guessed we were in a hotel. Why would there be a hotel in the middle of the woods? Looking down, I realized jumping out the window wasn't an option, because I was 4 stories high. Sighing, I continued my search for an escape.

I found the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I was wearing different clothes. I gasped. Someone touched me. They changed me. I lifted the shirt up to look at my scars, but my whole torso was covered in medical bandages and tape to cover my whip marks. It looked as if someone had fixed me up. Some blood had leaked through the white bandages.

I sighed. Great, I was in the middle of nowhere, in some guy's hotel, in some boy's clothes. I was wearing oversized black t-shirt and short shorts. The shirt was so big on me; it went halfway down my thighs.

"Ok Catherine, how do I escape?" I asked myself. I slowly left the bathroom and opened the big door in the front of the room. It can't be that easy to scape? I slowly opened it and looked left down the hall. No one that way. Then I looked right and saw my captor. I gasped and stumbled back into the room. I knew I shouldn't have gone through the front door!

"Please! Let me leave! I promise no one will know anything about this! I won't tell!" I screamed. My hands were flying around in the air, sobbing and crying. A man walked into the room and closed the door. I was a pretty short girl, but this man, he towered over me. His smile faded into a frown and he growled,

"I can't let you leave; didn't I tell you that you aren't allowed to leave? You're my mate."

"What is that even supposed to mean?!" I whimpered.

"Don't worry I will answer all of your questions, but first let's eat breakfast." The man explained as he went back into the hall and grabbed a basket full of food.

"You know, you're really cute, even when you cry." The man said. I squeaked and I climbed back up. By the time I was up, my face was super red.

"You're cute when you blush too." He laughed. Which only made me blush even more. The man lightly grabbed my chin, and gave me a butterfly kiss on my cheek. My face suddenly relaxed and I was back in my trance. My face tingled from his touch. It was paralyzing. He practically dragged me over to the mattress and sat me down next to him. Snapping out of my trance, I quickly punched the man.

I quickly regretted it, holding my hand that was now in pain as I felt crunching. I whimpered, and looked at the man. He was completely unfazed by my punch. He looked at me shocked, but seemed to completely ignore that I just punched him and held my hand.

"Are you ok?" He asked nervously, while he examined my hand.

"i-i...." I stuttered. I may be a girl, but why didn't my punch hurt him? Or at least make him flinch?

"W-who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Zane. What might your lovely name be?" Zane asked me, enjoyment in his eyes. I looked into his eyes and I forgot what he asked me for a second. He waved at me to get my attention. I noticed that he was still holding on to my hand. Sparks filling me up, the pain fading from his touch.
