"Oh. My. God."

The shiny golden liquid spread itself within all the worksheets on the floor. Files were opened, assignments lying out in the open. Nothing was spared from the imminent disaster. Of course partly to blame was the lid of the Himalayan tea latte wasn't the tightest, but all the homework and papers have now became soiled with the latte. The ink smudged itself. Nothing was presentable enough to hand up. He knew Mrs Fokker will be angry, and disappointed in him. That was the impact of a splash of latte.

He thought it was a deliberate act, staring belligerently at the poor girl who was unfortunately covering the perpetrator of the move. Sarah quickly rushed away to her classroom, avoiding his glancing eyes. Fixated at Susan, he muttered, " You owe me an explanation."

She trembled in fear, hiding the secret of  Jackson being her crush since Grade 8. It's been four years now since they last met because Jackson went back to Canada, while Susan was still not brave enough to initiate a conversation. Different classes formed a barrier, but courage was the biggest hindrance to what they could had been sharing by now. However, this conflict might just pull them further away from each other.

8.30AM.

"Class greet." The whole class bowed when Mrs Fokker strolled in, carrying new stacks of assignments on her laptop. It was a sign of homework and the class was upset. Then, she opened the door After putting down her materials on the desk, pulling the door to welcome a new classmate into class.

The whole class was in awe. Everyone was shrieking, and it was a pleasant surprise for all. Adrian and Kieron shouted the most. The new student stood at 1.82m, taller than average. There was only one person who quivered in her seat. The new classmate grazed around the class. It was an awkward situation.
