"Ring..." Snoozing for the third time, Susan slapped her clock with dismay, unhappy that a mere thing can disrupt her peaceful sleep. Mother Susanna pushed the door with a huge swing, shouting into her eardrums to wake up.
"Okay let me just have another five minutes...wait, I'M REALLY LATE!"
She quickly pushed her Mother outside the door, who gave her daughter an annoyed face. Wearing her uniform quickly, She instantly grabbed two pieces of toasts and shoved it in her mouth, whacking the door open, only to see that locked metal door frame.
"Let me get that." And there goes the buzzing wind, not before grabbing her haversack which her Mother placed it in the living room.
The clock kept on ticking, 7.18, she managed to catch the bus to Vodeside University which was a forty minute ride to the suburb which is of the name itself. Despite what the time labelled there, it was warned that traffic jams would delay arrivals, and on that day, the nightmare turned into a reality.
Raindrops soon started to hit the windows of the bus and temperatures dropped below ten degrees. The grey clouds took over the city of Starvale and quickly began to shed tears in the city. Morning peak hours made things worse as she sat on the upper level of the bus. It was a horrifying thought. What would the teacher say? What would her friends say? The diary became the place for all these incidents to lay history on. Words filled up pages and pages, expressing the thoughts of the poor girl.
Fifteen minutes left. The storms only raged on and grew amazingly quick. Flash floods were witnessed throughout Starvale and the nearby suburbs, which of course Vodeside was not spared of. Panic, Worry was all in the girl's mind.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Five minutes left.
