"Are you going to be okay?" Matt asked. He was in an airport about to board a plane to France.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'll be sure to check in with you and Chris every so often to let you guys know I'm still alive." I still hadn't gotten out of my car. I couldn't get myself to pull the handle and climb out the car. I was dying from the long car ride, but I was more afraid that once I got out of that car, I would never be able to escape. I liked the option of just forgetting about Rutgers and running away from everything. So much had happened in the last year. I watch a parent die for the second time, I graduated parentless, I drove from Michigan to New Jersey without any fanily, I felt so lost. Dad would say whenever you're lost it just means your looking for an adventure. I'm not quite sure if he was completely right about that, but I liked how it sounded.
I finally got out the car and my legs were soar. I forgot all about my nerves because my legs were that soar.
