"It's been 4 years now, huh?" You muttered to yourself.
4 years without my Seokjin.
You smiled slightly and sipped on your warm coffee. "I wonder how he's doing now.."
After the incident, you stopped your contacts with Irene, and even Jin. They were happy with each other, so why bother them?
You started focusing on your studies and as a medical student. And then, with many years of hardwork you were finally licensed as a doctor.
Ironic, isn't it? You weren't even deserving for Seokjin yet now, you're a doctor.
You left Korea the day you last saw Seokjin and studies at Australia. And today was the day you were going back to your hometown.
How I miss this.. You thought.
_______
"Noona!" You heard your brother call out to you. Arriving at the airport was very tiring especially that it is crowded with people.
You saw your family raising up banners saying 'Welcome Home", you smiled and ran up to them.
"It's been so long," your mother commented.
You giggled, "Really.."
"Well, come on. We need to get you setlled down now." Your father said.
"Yeah! Let's go!"
After an hour drive from the airport, you finally got to your house and grabbed your luggage. Some of it were carried by your brother and your dad, you thanked them and opened the door to reveal the house still at it is.
Some were changed and some were gone but it was still the home of yours.
You brought your things to your room and excused yourself. You sighed as you change in to comfortable clothing and lay on your bed.
I wonder how Seokjin is now.. maybe Irene never told me about him.
You sigh in disappointment and took a nap.
__________
You woke up early to go outside and see the busy streets of Seoul, tons of people were now up despite the early morning.
Many of them went from shop to shop to buy gifts since it was almost Christmas. You smiled at yourself, you and Jin used to go out like this and be dorks on every shop.
You decided to go to the park where you used to hangout, as you walked towards there you could hear laughter and many people and families were around. You sat on a bench and just enjoyed the view,
"Seokjin! Come on!" You chirped, waving your hand at him but you totally forgot that he'a blind.
"Oops, sorry." You giggled. Seokjin laughed and held out his hand for you to take.
"Let's go to the swings," he suggested.
You grabbed his hand and led him towards the swings. You sat beside him and silence took over you two.
"(Y/N), can you describe what you're seeing right now?" Seokjin asked.
"Sure," You cleared your throat and continued, "Well.. I see a girl and a boy. They look in love with each other.." You trailed off.
"And happy.." You finished, you didn't know what to say next.
Actually, you lied. You never saw two people inlove, infront of you is a tree with it's leaves falling. Just like how you are falling with Seokjin.
Your thoughts were stopped when a little boy fell on his face infront of you. You panicked a little, and stood up from your seat checking if the little boy is okay.
"Are you okay?" You asked.
You heard a cry from the boy and saw the tears running down his face. You carried him up and dusted his clothes which got dirtied by the ground.
A man came running towards your direction with sweat dripping down his forehead and is breathing heavily. "Thank God," He sighed.
You ignored the man and made sure to see that the boy is okay before you looked up, only to see the one and only. Kim Seokjin.
Your heart stopped, it's been years since you last saw him and now he is here. In front of you, and running after a kid.
You sigh sadly, "Excuse me, miss?"
A male voice confronted you, you shrugged your thoughts off and stood up. "Uhm.. is this your kid?" You asked.
"Yeah," he said, rubbing his neck. "Thanks tho." He smiled.
You can't believe your eyes, it is the man you loved. You stood there staring at him, but didn't notice him waving his hand infront of your face.
"Miss?" He asked. You blinked a few times and gained your composture.
"Yes?" You replied.
"I'm Seokjin by the way. But, just Jin for short." He said with a smile.
If I say my name would he be able to remember me? You thought.
"I'm (Y/N)," you replied.
"And this is my son, Yoochun." He said, refering to the boy in his arms.
You waved at the little boy and faked a smile. There was a little ache in your heart, but instead of sadness, there was happiness.
He may forget you, know you, but there are memories that you two shared. You were happy that you were able to be a part of his life for a short moment of time, and these are the things you'll never forget in your heart.
