[Mark's POV]

"I CAN'T HELP THAT SPACE IS SO COOL!" I yell.

"Fourty-Two!" everyone says at the same time. We all laugh. I look at the time. 1:36pm.

"Well," I start to say. "what do we all want for dinner?"

"I say we all go out today, to like the mall or something," Matt replies. "Then eat." Avery's face turns a little pale.

"What's wrong Avery?" I ask. "Do you want to do something else?"

"N-no," she says shakily. "I just don't have the clothes or money for it." I open my mouth to say something.

"We will get you an outfit." Ryan says. I thought he hated her, what the hell happened? Avery shakes her head.

"Please, no." she says looking at all of us. "I'm just a stranger, we barely know each other. I wouldn't allow you guys to pay for my things." She looks at her hands, fidgeting with her fingers. Matt stands.

"How about this." He starts. "We will get you some clothes today, nice and casual. Then tomorrow we set out to help find you a job." It sounds like a pretty good plan. We could get her nice interview clothing. Avery smiles.

"Really?" She asks. Matt nods. "Th-thank you, so much." She says almost crying. Matt goes and hugs her. I smile.

"Alright, who wants to go shop for clothes with Avery while the rest of us gets ready?" Ryan asks.

"I'll do it." I say smiling.

"Ok, let do this." Ryan and Matt go upstairs, I take Avery to the car. I drive her to JC Penny's. They weren't terribly expensive and they will have nice clothes for her. I pull into the parking lot and turn off the car.

"Ready?" I ask.

"Yes." She replies. I smile and open the door, she gets out and I lock up the car. Walking into JC Penny's was a nightmare sometimes. The mannequins... I shutter a bit. We get to the woman's clothing section, she picks a couple shirts and a really pretty casual dress. I look around and find a very nice casual outing dress. It was Navy-Blue with a ribbon around the waist and white sequence all around the top. This is perfect. I turn around and see Avery has gone. I look around and see her exit a changing room, wearing a black skirt and a maroon blouse. Wow... she looks great. She sees me and smiles. "So?" she asks twirling around.

"Amazing!" I say. She blushes and notices the dress.

"You shopping for yourself?" She laughs. "I'm afraid you won't fit in that dress." I smile.

"No I actually picked this out for you." I hand her the dress, she smiles warmly and  goes to try it on. I sit down in a waiting chair across from an older woman holding a shoe box.

"She's lovely," She says sweetly. "How long have you two been together?" I blush.

"Oh... w-were not dating." I reply. She looks amused.

"Dear, no man gets a dress like that for just any woman." I hear the door open and see Avery walk out in the dress. I stand, I feel my mouth open. She looks at herself in the mirror.

"How does it look?" Avery asks walking to me. I couldn't speak. She's so beautiful. "Mark?" I snap out of my trance.

"I-I uh... you look..." I stutter trying to find the right words.  "You look stunning." She blushes, and turns back to the room to change back. I stand there for a while. I hear the woman giggle.

"And no man definitely looks at just any woman like you looked at her just now." I blush scratching my head sitting down. Did I like Avery? I mean, she's nice and really cute but... did I have feelings for her? Avery walks out of the room clothes in hand.

"Ready?" she asks. I stand up a little shaky getting the thoughts out of my head.

"Yea." We walk around some more finding the right necessities for her like makeup, underwear, bras, and toiletries. We go to check out.

"How are ya'll doin' today?" A woman about in her mid-thirties asked.

"Great," I reply. The woman scans all the items then finally gets to the dress.

"oh this is just gorgeous." She awes. I smile. "You are a lucky girl." She says to Avery. "Having a man so kind to get this lovely thing for you. Is this for a date?" She asks smiling at us.

"No," Avery blushes. "He picked it out but, I doubt I'm going to use it soon."

"You never know," I say playfully winking at her. She blushes harder, then looks away clearing her throat. I laugh. We pay for her items then head out to the car. We get back home and enter the house, I take her clothes to a spare room we now have. Avery walks out to the balcony. I smile, finding myself staring at her looking at the clouds. She's so beautiful.

"Knock knock." Matt says entering the room. "How was shopping? Find anything good?"

"Yes we did," Avery enters. "Mark found me a lovely dress and I found an interview outfit." She smiles at me.

"Nice nice." Matt replies. "Is she going to stay in here?" Matt turns to me.

"I figured as much," I say looking down. "I doubt she'll want to keep staying in my room." Matt looks a little serious.

"Ok, well." He starts. "Ryan and I thought about some other things we could do since the mall isn't such a good idea considering the wreck that happened on its street. So we thought about mini-golf?" I nod.

"Sounds great!" Avery says.

"Awesome, you all get ready I'll go book some games." Matt leaves the room.

"I'll be in my room getting ready if you need me ok?" I say to Avery. She nods and Smiles.

"Thank you Mark," She hugs me. I softly return the hug, my face feeling hot. My mind starts to wonder. "Uh... Mark?" I snap out of it.

"Oh, I-I'm sorry." I blush. "I'll uh, go now." I shut the door. I think about what the woman said to us today. Do I like her?

A/N: WOO. What a chapter. Ryan is so nice now isn't he? You're welcome. I wonder who's room she's staying in? Why Matt seemed serious about it. OH WELL. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Thank you for reading!!! BUH-BYE!!!
