Taggerty is trying to become a assault class the class that does the most damage to the monster and is one of the staples for victory on the Squadron. He will be the front line for the squad first one in and the last one out though he will need help from the other units in the squad to make a difference in the missions that where the support class comes in the ensure the assault and trappers get there hits in and do damage in the fight that's who are next recruit is.
