A Gesture For An Answer

Zane's P.O.V
My eye slowly opened. I looked around not knowing where I was. I was on a hard floor.

"Ugh! What happened?" I asked. Aaron holds out a hand. I grabbed it and he pulls me up.

"Do you not remember?" He asked. I felt confused. I shook my head 'no'.

"Um well-" He started then Cake and Aphmau ran over to us.

"Zane! Are you okay?" Aphmau asks going around me and checking me as if she was my mother.

"Yes I'm fine! Now stop it!" I pushed Aphmau away. She relaxed. Aaron looked ashamed and nervous.

What did he do to me? Why was I on the ground? And why the heck is Aphmau worrying so much about me?

I looked at Cake. She had frosting on her lip making it look like a mustache. It was probably from that frosting dipping sauce stuff she had for her pretzel bites.

"Aaron..." Cake looked at him with curious eyes.

"I uh....um...well.."He started to rub his neck. He seemed embarrassed by something.

"Zane? What happened?" Cake looked at me curious. She tilted her head.

"I actually don't remember. The only thing I do remember is being on the ground." I scratched my head. Aphmau looked like she was thinking.

"Aaron? What happened just now with you and Zane?" Cake looked at him with hard eyes. Everyone looked at him concerned. He was hiding something and we all knew it.

"I uh....kissed Zane...and then he fainted..." He said looking nervous. Aphmau and Cake's eyes widened. Then I realized.

My last night was real!! Wait. So Aaron kissed me?

I started to blush a deep red yet no one could see it under my mask.

Aaron's P.O.V
WHY DID I DO THAT?! Ugh! Stupid Aaron!  Do I really love Zane? I-I think I do. That answer feels right to me. I do love Zane. But does he love me back?

I look at Zane. I can see him blushing from behind his mask. I hold his hands in mine. I look into his ice blue eyes. He looked into mine.

"Zane....I wanted to tell you something...something that I've wanted to say for a long long time..." I look away. He grabs my chin and turns my head so I was looking into his eyes again.

"I know what your gonna say and I feel the same way....and this time I'm sure of my answer...I'm not lying to you...and I don't know why I would ever do that...I love you too..." He blushes a deep red. My face becomes hot and red I feel happy about his answer.

"I-I love you too Zane." I look at him. Then I pull his mask down below his face. "Would you like to do it again?"

"Y-Yes" He says then he kisses me. The kiss lasted longer than before. It felt that it had more meaning to it. This one was the one. The one kiss that told it all. Then we broke it.

"Zane will you be my boyfriend?" I asked still not sure if he would say yes or reject me.

"Yes. Yes I will, Aaron." He smiled and hugged me. I hugged back. This was the happiest moment of my life.
