Allison had been called to the principals office which means that Gerard wanted to know something so I waited by my locker at free period and waited for her , I seem her in the distance and when she reached me I turned to her

"Have you noticed the cameras being installed around the school?" I asked

"Yeah" she nodded

"Why do I have a feeling Gerard knows more than we think" I sigh

"Because he does" she turned to me

"Explain" I said

"Not here" she said nodding towards the cameras

"Right" I nod.

We walked out of the school and we started walking towards my car

"Ok so he just questioned me aboit last night and he did it while monotoring my pulse to see if I lied" she breathed out

"Wait what? How did he monitor your pulse?" I asked confused

"He checked how fast it was beating from the vein on my neck and then he asked questions to see if it jumped" she explained

"Ok he definetly knows more" I nod "what did he ask you about?" I asked

"Last night , if Scott and Jackson had anything to do with what happened at the club" she told me

"What did you tell him?" I asked

"That they didn't but listen , Jacksons parents know that Jackson is missing" she tells me panicked

"What? How?" I asked

"Stiles must have messed up on something but they are looking for him" she says

"We need to tell him" Insay starting the car and I began driving to the preserve.

When we got to the preserve I jumped out of the car and walked to the prisoner transporter van that Stiles is holding Jackson in and I see Stiles

"Stiles , Jacksons parents know he's missing and the police are looking for him" I say walking closer to him

"What? How? That's impossible I've been texting them the whole time" he said showing me the phone with the messages

"You are an idiot" I say shaking my head

"Why?" He asked

"Because does Jacksom really look like the type to wrote I love you to his parents?" I ask tilting my head

"No" he shook his head "oh wait" he says frantically "they're tracking the phone" he said holdimg the phone out like it was some kind of disease before going to the radio in the van and hearing that the police were heading to the preserve

"We gotta move" he says getting into the van

"I'll follow in the car" I say running to my car

"What's happening?" Allison asked

"The police know where we are and their coming so we are going somewhere else" I said starting the car and beginning to follow Stiles

"Oh god" Allisom sighed.

When Stiles stopped the van I parked the car close to it and both Allison and I got out and walked over to Stiles. Scott arrived shortly after and we began talking about what the Kanimas plan is

"What if the kanima doesn't want to kill us?" I ask

"What do you mean?" Scott asked

"I mean , what if the kanima has its target and only hits the target rather than just killing anyone for the fun" I explain

"But it tried to attack Allison" Scott said

"Maybe it was confused, all I know is that it could have killed Stiles when he was at the garage but it didn't and even at the pool what if it was trying to keep Stiles and Derek in the pool rather than tey and kill them" I say

"She has a point" Allison nodded

"Yeah but we still don't have proof of this so I say we kill Jackson" Stiles raised his hand

"No , we're not killing Jackson , he doesn't know what he's doing just like me when I first turned" Scott explained "but I had you Stiles and Allison even though she didn't realise it at the time , Jackson isn't like me , he doesn't have anyone" Scott said desperately

"Right well some of us need to get back to school or else Gerard is gonna notice something" I say to them

"I'll go back" Stiles raised his hand

"Me too" I told them "you two make sure Jackson doesn't escape" I turn to Allison and Scott

"Alright bye" They said at the same time while Stiles and I walked away.

*skip to end of school*

Stiles and I met at the preserve before going to meet Scott and Allison. When we got to where they were we noticed that the van door were open

"Stiles , Jacksons gone" I say panicked

"Crap come on" he saud rushing over to the car that Scott and Allison were in "are they seriously asleep" he asked frustrated before knocking on the window to wake them up , They got out of the car and Stiles broke the news

"Jacksons gone" he told them

"How did he get out?" Scott asked

"Well judging by the van , he wasn't exactly human when he got out so" I explain

"I think we should tell our dads" Allison turned to Stiles

"Yeah , we need to tell your dad atleast Stiles , tell him everything" Scott said to Stiles

"Alright I'll tell him" Stiles nodded

"I'll help" Scott nodded and they walked off to Stiles' jeep

"We still need to translate the bestiary lets go" I say to Allison nodding my head towards my car.

Allison and I drive home and head straight to my room. We walk in and I get my laptop on my desk and when we turn around Lydia was sitting on my bed

"Oh my god" I breath out after getting a fright "Lydia you scared me , what are you doing here?" I asked

"I was waiting for you to come home , I need someone to talk to" she says desperately

"Yeah well we don't really have the time right now ok , because we have to translate archaic latin and we don't even know the language" Allison told her frustrated

"I know archaic latin" Lydia shrugged

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah" she said coming towards my laptop and reading what it said

"The kanima seeks a master" she translates

"Wait , are you sure that's right Ms Morrell said that it means friend" Allison said turning to Lydia

"Well she was wrong it's master " Lydia said to her

"So the kanima seeks a master" I said to Allison as Lydia walked back to my bed

"Does that mean that it's being controlled by someone?" She asked

"Maybe and I have a feeling that those murders might not juat be random people" I sighed.
