Chapter 4

*AlaZays P.O.V*

Shit. Now what? I don't want them finding out, not yet... I have to lie.

"I'm serious." I spoke calmly crossing two of my fingers behind my back. Jai stared at me weirdly, almost as if he knew something.

"Fine. It's OK. Just know, Jai and I will find out whats going on between you two." Luke said pointing his finger at Beau and I.

"You realize while you're pointing ONE finger at us, there are THREE pointing back at you?" I said laughing. He put down his finger and looked like he was in deep thought.

"I've heard that before..." He started. Haha, no shit. Your mother use to say it. That's who I got it off from. I thought, I heard a slight chuckle from behind me. I turned and saw that Beau was trying not to laugh. What was so funny?

"It's because mum says it, ALOT you dumbass!" Jai said slapping Lukes arm. Luke winced and pushed Jai. The twins soon let go of me and Beaus 'secret' and we went over to their house. I decided to hang out with them, to 'get to know them'. Little did the twins know, I already knew them. I think I knew them better than they knew themselves. Lol.

*At The House*

"Hey AlaZay! C'mere!" Jai said leading me upstairs, the house still looked the same, a few things were moved but I knew this place off by heart. I knew exactly how many steps it took for me to get to the twins room from the lounge, 39 exactly. I followed Jai upstairs and into his and Lukes room, he sat on his bed while I roamed the room looking at all the different photos of when we were kids to now.

"Wow, where'd you get all these photos?" I asked smiling, remembering all those memories we made. I stopped at one that was right in the middle, it was of me and Jai kissing. I laughed remembering that day, I still haven't forgotten.

"Oh, those are from way back." Jai said getting up from the bed and walking towards me. He put his arm around my shoulder and I leaned me head on his shoulder.

"Who is the mystery girl?" I said chuckling abit. He chuckled too.

"She was one of my best-friends. She was best-friends with all of us boys actually. We got along so well, she was..." He started. I looked up at him while he closed his eyes like if he finished that sentence he would break out crying. I hugged him.

"Why do you look like you're about to cry?" I say wanting to know, he looked into my eyes and smiled.

"Oh it's nothing, it's stupid actually." He said walking towards his bed. He layed down on it and grabbed his phone. I walked towards him and looked into his eyes.

God damn it! Why does he have to be so damn cute! arrrggh.

"C'mon, tell me. I promise I wont think it's stupid." I laughed. He patted the bed and signalled for me to come and sit. So, I did.

"Well, that girl, her nickname was kadee, she was my first kiss. Lol. This is so stupid, how about we go and do something else k?" He laughed, I smiled. He remembered my nickname, it's so funny how they called me Kadee instead of AlaZay, they thought that Kadee suited me better. You'd think that they'd actually forgotten my real name if you counted how many times they called me Kadee and how many times they called me AlaZay. 100 - 3.

"Ok. But, can I ask one thing?" I said smiling. He nodded.

"Um.. Do you know what happened to her?" I looked down at my feet.

"The last I heard from her was at least a few years ago, she moved to California and well..She stopped calling, texting and any other contact." I heard him sniff, I looked up and saw a tear fall from his eye.

What have I done to him? I should've never left, I should tell him. I should tell him that i'm here...That i'm here to stay.  I thought.

"Uh, Jai. There's something I have to tell you.." I said slowly while he tryed to wipe away the tears that just kept coming, I hugged him tight.

"Go on..." He urged me. I took a deep breath in and sighed.

"Please don't ge-." I was interrupted by Luke walking in the room. He looked up at me and then at Jai. I just noticed that we were hugging. We pulled away and Luke scratched the back of his head.

Yeap, this was awkward. Even though it was totally innocent. It was still awkward.

"Um, Beau and I were going to go to maccas, do you guys.. uh.. want to come?" He said it so awkwardly. I looked over at Jai who nodded, so I did too. I had to admit, I was abit hungry, I haven't had anything to eat since first period at school this morning. It was now 5pm. We all went downstairs and outside. I checked my pockets. Shit, I forgot my wallet at school in my bag, in my locker.

"Fuck!" I cursed out loud. The boys looked over at me and stared.

"Are you OK?" Luke asked raising an eyebrow. I shook my head.

"No, I left my bag at school and it had my wallet in there." I said face palming myself.

 "It's Ok. We weren't going to let you pay anyways." He smiled. I smiled back. These guys are even sweeter than before. Maybe this whole secret thing would work out, maybe i'll never have to tell them... No. It wont work out, they will find out, then they'll hate you for not telling them. I shook the thought out of my head.

"Wow, that actually sounded nice and mean at the same time. Never thought it was possible." I chuckled. We got into Beaus car and headed towards Maccas. I was sitting next to Luke at the back and Jai and Beau were sitting in the front seats. I started talking to Luke about the Janoskians and my life before I came to Melbourne. There wasn't much to tell really.

"Well, I went to Riverside High in california, I had a part time job as a life gaurd in venis beach. And my lifes been normal... Until my dad died." I let a tear drop from my eye and luke gave me a tight hug. I felt my phone buzz. I sat up straight and pulled my phone out of my pocket, I unlocked it and saw that I had a message from an unknown number. I opened it.

From : Unknown.

Heey, its Jai. Um, what were you gonna tell me back at the house? xx

I blinked a couple of times, should I just make up another lie? Or should I come out with it? I started to type back...
