Broken Promise

Things with My Rose has been going great. Planning the wedding and all. Her parents finally excepted me. They knew how much I loved her and how much she loved me.

I was so overly happy with her. I already found us a place. It's an apartment that my brother lives in. His is above ours. It's all ready we just need to move in and be married.

A day I couldn't wait for.

But like all good things, something bad has to happen.

Ben and I was arrested. Well.... I was innocent, my brother had a little black out and I was trying to find him and when I did it was to late to leave.

Rose came to visit me and looked disappointed and sad.

"I'm so sorry my love." I said. I went to reach for her hands. "You broke your promise to me." She said, moving her hands away, breaking my heart more.

"I'm innocent love. I didn't do anything." I said trying to make her see things my way. "It doesn't matter if you're innocent Thomas. You're back in prison. What happened to going straight?" She questioned.

I sighed. It wasn't that big of a secret I haven't kept that promise to her.

"I'm sorry love. Look. My hearing is soon. And I'll be free. And then we can be married. I still want to marry you. I still want you to be mine." I said.

She shook her head sadly.

"If you aren't freed I don't ever want to see you again... And I... I don't care if you forget me and move on." I can tell she doesn't mean it since her voice was breaking and she was crying.

She stood.

"Rose. You don't mean it! Rose!" I called after her.

"I'll be out soon my love and I'll hold you in my arms forever!" She didn't turn back as she left.

I sat with my brother in the court room. My father was going to do his best to get us out of jail time.

I looked over at the love of my life and smiled at her. She smiled a little bit.

I knew she wanted me to be released so we can be together.

The judge was speaking I was frankly extremely bored so I only looked at Rose. Memorizing her face as I always do.

I can look at her forever.

I then heard that we was found Not Guilty and I looked at my girl and winked at her.

She smiled and clapped with my parents.

I was soon walked out to see Rose at my car. "I thought that if you got released you'd want your car." She said. "I hoped you'd be released. I'm sorry for what I said. I was so mean." She said, tearing up again.

I rushed to her and slammed my mouth onto hers making her gasp giving me a way to taste the inside of her mouth.

God I've missed you.

I drove her around town and we got things for a picnic.

We drove to the park, but saw it started raining. so I decided that we will just have to have our picnic in the car.

I climbed into the back much to her delighted giggles, and set the blanket up and helped her climb back. It was a bit harder for her since she was in a dress.

We ate our food, and I pulled her into my lap. The smooth music was playing and we watched the storm roll by.

Soon we faced each other and claimed the others lips.

I soon had o take her home and sadly leave her there.

Laying in my bed is so so lonely I cant wait to have my beautiful bride in bed with me to snuggle with.
