Chapter 9
Jasmin's pov:
I looked up at his eyes, and I could see was hope and…love? I looked back at my hands thinking about what I should do.
“I’ll think about it” I answer. I look in eyes to see they have dropped, a wave of sadness washed over him, but he puts on a fake smile and nods anyway, I lean in a give him a peck on the lips and when I pull back I can see a real smile forming on his lips.
“Let’s go, I need to introduce you to some people” he smiles at me. I nod and hop off his lap. Justin hops off and intertwines our hands as we walk out the door.
We pass a few people that bow at us, I have no clue what that was about, but I smiled and waved at them anyway.
Justin leads me to a room that looks like a living room, with a few couches and a television, there are a few people there, I instantly recognised Amy and Max.
“Jamin I would like you to meet Luke, Zayn, Tess, Emily, you already know Max and Amy” he said calmly.
“Hi I’m Tess, we have history together” Tess explained, she has blonde hair with brown streaks and honey coloured eyes.
“We do?” I asked unsure.
“Yeah but you always sit at the back, I sit in the middle of the room. We should hang out sometimes” she said with a smile
“Yeah, we should” I say with a smile, as she gave me a welcoming hug.
“This is my mate Zayn” she says with a smile, looking at her mate with so much love. Zayn had black hair and dark brown eyes.
“Hi” he says with a smile, I return a smile back at him.
Through conversations with the group I discover that Emily and Luke are mates, Emily has brown wavy hair and dark honey coloured eyes, while Luke has shaggy brown hair and bright blue eyes. I also found out that Emily and Tess are also 17 while all the boys are 18, except Luke who is also 17.
We were talking and drinking some coco cola, I pick up my glass and start to drink when Emily asked “So Jasmin, how’s it feel to be the new Luna?”
I spat my drink, spraying it everywhere. Luna? Me? I give Emily a confused look, thinking I misheard her, but she’s turned her focus to Justin with an apologetic look in her eyes, as if she said something she shouldn’t have.
“What are you talking about?”
