Day 01

Erza was now waiting at the gate for the devil leader. It was now about 2:55 in the afternoon, everyone had gotten out of school and went home since the next day was Saturday. Saturday was the day Juvia and Lyon were suppose to have their date but an incident happened to the blunette.

"Hey Scarlet! Glad you made it." Gray waved from afar.

"Hey Gray." She greeted the boy, "Are we going to your place or mine?"

"I guess mine." He suggested.

Walking home was complete awkwardness, it isn't the most talkative conversation with The all mighty Erza Scarlet. Gray just looked somewhere where he could not see Erza, it was weird to be with her. Just her.

"So Erza, how's you day..." Gray said trying to make a conversation.

"It's been an average day, school and work. Just as I expect from classes." She replied in her serious tone.

"Oh, well that's great?" Gray was hesitant about what he says.

He needed to watch out for any moves the angel would make, or just any stupid things himself would do. Walking about 5 minutes from the school they arrived at his place. Opening the gate to the house, his parents weren't home meaning they were on their business trips as always. As he opened the door, he welcomed Erza in. Taking off their shoes, Gray lead her into his room and told her he would be getting drinks for them. Erza looking around his room it was a dark raven blue Color, sortive like his hair. His bed was also the shade of some blue and later on Erza heard some barking in another room. Getting up from his bed, she opened another door leading to a different room. Seeing a little husky puppy she immediately fell In love with it.

Gray coming in with two sodas and some snacks, he smiled at the girl who was playing with the little dog. Talking to him in a high pitched voice.

"I see you met my dog." Gray interrupted Erza.

"I! I yeah! He's adorable..." She looked away.

"Well, his name is Memphis. He's a Siberian husky. There are actually two more huskies in the house. Probably outside or something." Gray explained as he opened his soda.

"There...there are more?..." She asked quietly.

"Yeah, so there is Memphis, Bear, and then Zeus. I got them all together about two months ago. I need some friends around when my dad and mom are out. Also they are pretty good guarding the house. I would have gotten pit bulls but I saw them and couldn't resist it."

Erza's eyes widened. She has always had a soft spot for animals, especially puppies. When she saw Memphis it was a heaven.

"Can....can we see the others?" She fiddled with her fingers.

Gray smirked, "Great Titania wants to see my dogs, never knew you liked animals so much. Come on they are probably in the backyard or in their room."

Gray getting up Memphis and Her followed. Opening the door to the dogs room, one little husky that's fur was white as snow was sleeping on the bed. Once a noise was made in the room the little dog came running up to Gray and started playing with Memphis. His tail wagging in excitement.

"This is Bear." Gray introduced.

The little pup sat, and wagged his tail at Erza. Erza's staring at the dog like it was some type of masterpiece, Gray snapped her out of it by waving his hand in front of her. Gray gestured her and the two puppies to follow them back to the backyard. There Erza was about too faint when she saw a little husky digging up holes and running around.

"Now that's Zeus." Gray said, opening the door he called out to the dog making him come inside.

As all the dogs were jumping on Erza, she fell in love. "This is really heaven..." She said.

"Well we should get back to working on the project, so let's go." Gray opening the backyard door again, all three pups ran outside.

Walking back to his room, Erza kept thinking about how a devil could own such adorable creatures. She thought maybe the guy would own rats or even spiders.

"You're really lucky to have all these dogs." Erza told him.

"Yeah, I treat them like their my kids, if I go somewhere besides school I take them with me. I own a Jeep and they sit in the back most of the time unless one of the jumps into the front. I sometimes take them to Natsu's house, that's where they see Happy his cat. Usually they don't like Happy because of him being a cat but they tolerate it." Gray chuckled.

Erza blushed, she's never seen such a guy love his animals so much.

"But why do you say I'm really lucky? Don't you have any animals Scarlet."

"No...even thought my parents are out most of the time a lot too. Mostly around the world, they can't spend time with me. I've always asked for dogs but, they never really told me anything that I couldn't so it was a yes. But I don't think I'm ready."

"Tch." He then said.

"What? Is there something wrong." She then glared at him.

They both entered the room and sat on the bed.

"Ready or not, anyone can take care of a dog. I've seen a little 11 year old girl walking her big ass pit bull around the neighborhood. Everyone thinks she's so young but she thinks that her pitbull is amazing."

"You really think so?" Erza asked.

"Yeah, and you know what. Go back to your place, go get some clothes for tomorrow. You're sleeping over."

"What!" Erza blushed in confusion, "What do you mean I'm sleeping over!"

"Come on it would be fun, we will work on the project tonight. Most of it and then tomorrow we will go to the animal shelter to get you three puppies like I have right now." He explained.

"You're gonna do this all for me?" She asked.

A devil would never do such thing for an angel, it was pure confusion to her.

"Yeah, you need someone in your home and besides you can take your puppies here too. They'll meet, Memphis, Zeus, and Bear. I'll take them with me to the animal shelter so I can shop for some stuff for them."

"Alright...I'll be back.." She then got up from his bed making her way out the door.

"Alright then it's a date." He smiled.

"A..date.."  She said as she finally got out.

"Yes, it's a date Scarlet." Gray said to himself
