Chapter 1 of Heist or Love by SakuraGal6801

Genre: Adventure

Why being discovered is important:

I want to be a writer and I'm trying to move away from fanfics toward my own stories. I'm still writing fanfics but I want to get my own work noticed.

Chapter 1 called "The Present" of Heist or Love:

I looked down at my schedule I just received from my guidance counselor at Tristant, the private high school.

"So, Alena, what classes do you have?" I heard Opal ask behind me.

I turned to her and said,"Well, I have PE, Biology, English Advanced, Algebra 2A, Study Hall, and Art. In that order. Any matching?"

"Only the last two."

I glanced at Opal's schedule and gasped. "Your real name is Opalescent? You kept that secret from me? Your BFF?" I half jokingly said.

"It's too long," she complained.

I chuckled. So Opal! "Do you think he'll ever return?" I asked, completely serious.

"Are you STILL thinking about him? Get over it! He left us!"

"I can't help it. I don't think I'll ever get over it."

"You can and will! I'll make sure of it!"

I groaned. In other words, I'm not gonna get my life back until I let her "help" me. "Fine."

She smiled at me. "Now was that so hard?"

"Yes," I muttered.

Then, the bell rang. A little bit late, bell!

"Well, I gotta go do nothing in PE. Good luck with Biology Advanced!"

"I'll try!"

I quickly walked in the opposite direction towards the other side of the school. Why'd the class have to be way over there? I'm going to barely make it there!

Oh well, I'm so close to Bio. Too late to be complaining!

All of a sudden, from behind me, a voice shouted, "HIKE!"

Before I knew it, I felt something, or someone, push me down by the back of my head.

I couldn't get up even though I gave it my all.

I barely managed to lift my head to see him standing in front of me.

I was about to call out to him, but the dizziness consumed me and I fell into darkness.
