Chapter 3

My hotel was amazing the room was outstanding a lovely queen sized bed with a beautiful marble en-suite bathroom, I put my music on and started to unpack I was dancing around my room when there was a knock at the door, I rushed to my docking station and turned off the music and went to answer the door, when I got to the door there was no one there but as I looked down I saw a bouquet of flowers, they must have been left at the wrong room these can't be for me, I picked them up and saw there was a small note taped to the rapping I looked and it sad for Ayana, I was confused who would send me flowers unless it was another surprise from my mum. I shut the door and went to my bed placing the flowers down, I opened the small note and saw that they were from Mads, it simply said Thank you Mads x.

Wow how did he know what room I was in? How did he get the flowers here so fast? Why was he saying thank you to me? My head was baffled then I looked at the flowers again and sighed this man is amazing I smiled like a Cheshire Cat, he had got me Lilly's and white roses they were gorgeous. He must have spent a fortune on them but why? he didn't need to he doesn't even know me that well.

That night I couldn't sleep I was tossing and turning thinking about Mads and everything that happened during the day the plane journey the car ride the flowers, him admitting that he wanted to see me again, as that last thought crossed my mind I wondered why does he want to see me again I'm sure he would want to spend his time here with his wife? Then I remembered I didn't see him wearing a ring when he was driving. I shook my head that doesn't mean anything he might have forgot to put it on he could have taken it off for work and not realized. Eventually I drifted off to sleep still wondering about the days events.

There was a warm glow on my face as the sun shone through into my room I woke up to see birds flying, trees flickering in the wind and blue skies it was like a movie scene it was beautiful,I wander into the bathroom and started getting ready for the day ahead I chose my black converse, grey jeans, black top and grey hoodie, I was ready ready to explore.

Copenhagen was beautiful the old historic buildings in the city centre were amazing they contrasted really well with the newly designed buildings that surrounded them, the people were friendly and welcoming I sometimes struggled to understand them as they mainly spoke in Danish, however this helped me I got to try out my hand at speaking Danish they could tell I was a tourist so they laughed when I said something wrong but helped me when I did. I was having such a good time wondering around taking in the town that I hadn't realized what time it was 6:30 wow I had been out all day I made my way back to the hotel I arrived at the hotel for about 7:15 walking into the hotel the receptionist stopped me and said that he had a message for me he handed me an envelope nothing was on it I thanked him and made my way to the elevator. I was in the elevator on my own when I opened the envelope,

Hi Ayana hope that you are having a good time in Copenhagen and I hope that you liked the flowers I wasn't sure what to get so I hope they were suitable, I'm at a press conference tomorrow evening and I was wondering if you would like to accompany me. My jaw dropped, the elevator doors opened and I stumbled out still in shock of what I had just read I ran to my room, when I new I was alone I danced around the room like a five year old at Christmas Mads Mikkelsen has asked me out holy shit he really has asked me out.
